The team’s current home in Orchard Park has been relatively secluded for the last 50 years, especially when you compare it to other NFL stadiums. Other than the stadium, training facilities, team offices, and a few restaurants along Abbott and Southwestern Boulevard, there isn’t much development around One Bills Drive.

Building a destination around an NFL stadium was a relatively new concept 20 years ago, which is when one of the prime examples, Patriot Place, in Foxborough, Massachusetts was just being thought up.
Patriot Place is a so-called lifestyle mall with shops, bars and restaurants, two hotels, and many more attractions plus a medical center.
We were the first and you know, I think weve been very, very successful, said Patriot Place General Manager Brian Earley.
Earley has been running Patriot Place since it opened in 2007. It was a unique venture for New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, but since then other teams around the league have adopted the idea, like the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals.

The Foxborough Shopping Dining And Entertainment Destination Hosts Programming For Families All Week

Patriot Place in Foxborough will host daily programming for kids and families on school vacation from Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 24. The week kicks off with a chicks and bunnies petting zoo on the Dean College Stage on April 15 from 3 to 5 p.m. On Saturday, April 16, an onsite wildflower truck will gift free bouquets to the first 50 guests outside Bar Louie, and complimentary spring photos for families will be taken from noon to 4 p.m.
The fun continues throughout the week, starting with a block party on Monday at noon on the Dean College Stage, followed by a talent show on Tuesday. On Wednesday, Citizen Crust hosts a meet-and-greet, singalong, and photo opp with the characters from Disneys Encanto, and Thursday will bring a Mad Science Experiment on the Dean College Stage at noon. Friday, April 22, Bass Pro Shops celebrates Earth Day from 1 to 4 p.m. with a reptile show, a scavenger hunt, a cranberry bog tour, nature-themed crafts, and live music.

Friday, Feb. 25
The fun continues on Friday with a Mardi Gras block party from 12 p.m. through 4 p.m. Taking place at the Dean College Stage and surrounding restaurants, this family-friendly take on a New Orleans favorite will include a caricature artist, live DJ, dancing games, a bubble machine, hula hoops, and prizes.

Guests can kick off school break at Patriot Place on Monday with a full slate of giveaways exclusivelythrough the Patriot Place Advantage App. Starting at 10 a.m., guests can redeem gift cards and packagesto a variety of Patriot Place entertainment and shopping destinations.
