Russia: Trump & His Teams Ties

President Trump’s Full, Unedited Interview With Meet The Press | NBC News

Despite Russias harmful national interests against the U.S., and its human rights violations around the world, President Trump and his team are directly and indirectly tied to Russia.

Throughout the 2016 presidential election, President Trump not only refused to criticize Russian President Vladimir Putin, but was even friendly and accommodating in his remarks. In his own words, President Trump called President Putin highly respected.” More recently, President Trump put the U.S. on equal moral footing with Russia when responding to Bill OReillys question about Putin being a “killer,” saying “We’ve got a lot of killers… you think our country’s so innocent?” This is absolutely false moral equivalence, and unheard of for the President of the United States to insult and demean the country he leads.

President Trump has harshly criticized NATO, and exclaimed that only the NATO allies that paid equally to the alliance deserved protection from the United States. Though these remarks were softened by British Prime Minister Theresa May, who claims that President Trump fully supports the North Atlantic Treaty Organization , it’s still unclear how supportive he will be of NATO allies like the Baltic states in light of his relationship with Russia.

Donald Jr 44 Son Of Ivana

Now a father of five, Donald Jr. was 12 when Ivana and Donald Sr. divorced. Unlike his younger siblings, he was old enough to understand what the nasty divorce headlines meant his classmates were, too.

As a child, he was extremely close to his maternal grandfather, Milos Zelnicek, who died in 1990. The two would spend a couple of weeks every summer hunting and fishing in a town outside of Prague. The fast-talking Donald Jr. is fluent in Czech and named one of his sons Tristan Milos after his grandfather.

After boarding school , he followed in his father’s footsteps as most of the Trump kids have to The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate.

A 2004 New York magazine profile noted Donald Jr.’s propensity for drinking and getting into “do you have any idea who I am?” fights in college, but he later told Forbes that his love of hunting kept him on the straight and narrow. ” other people I knew were getting into trouble, I was somewhere in a deer stand or going to bed early so I could be up before dawn to hunt turkeys,” he said.

In 2001, a year after he graduated from college, Donald Jr. went to work for his dad for the second time. He nows serves as an executive vice president for Trump Organization, cutting his teeth with the development of Trump Place at West Side Yards and spearheading projects in Chicago, Las Vegas, Scotland, and India.

She assumed the role of first lady of the United States on January 20, 2017, continuing to live in Manhattan at the Trump Tower with their son, Barron, until the end of his 20162017 school year at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School. A 2020 biography by Washington Post reporter revealed that Melania stayed in New York to negotiate more favorable terms in her prenuptial agreement from Trump for her and their son.

Of Trump’s inauguration, Vogue compared Melania’s wardrobe to those of Jacqueline Kennedy and Nancy Reagan, writing that Melania closely works with her stylist, designer Hervé Pierre, preferring “strongly tailored pieces” in bold colors and wearing almost exclusively high-end designers.

She and Barron moved into the White House in Washington, D.C., on June 11, 2017. Her Secret Service code name is “Muse” . She is the second foreign-born woman to hold the title of first lady, after Louisa Adams, wife of John Quincy Adams, who was born in 1775 in London to a father from Maryland and an English mother. She is also the first naturalized citizen to hold the title, and the first whose native language is not English. Though it has frequently been reported that Trump speaks up to five foreign languages fluently, evidence has shown that when speaking French or Italian, her speech has been limited to basic greetings.

According to an unauthorized biography, she was well-liked by her staffers, is cordial to Ivanka Trump, and is not close to Mike Pence‘s wife, Karen Pence.

Donald Trump Jr Expected To Meet With Jan 6 Committee: Sources

The meeting is expected in the coming days, sources tell ABC News.

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol attack is expected to meet with Donald Trump Jr. in the coming days, sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News.

Trump Jr.’s appearance is voluntary and comes after the committee invited him to speak with their investigators, sources told ABC News. The panel has not subpoenaed him.

Trump Jr. would become the latest member of the Trump family to meet with the committee. In recent weeks, the panel interviewed Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, both of whom served as senior White House advisers to former President Donald Trump.

An attorney for Trump Jr. did not immediately respond to a request for comment from ABC News.

Donald Trump plots path to potential 2024 presidential run

Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of former President Donald Trump, is expected to meet with the Jan. 6 committee in the coming days, a source familiar with the panel’s work said Thursday.

Lawmakers on the House panel have invited Trump Jr. to speak with investigators voluntarily. They did not issue a subpoena.

A final date for his appearance has yet to be scheduled. The source said the meeting will not take place this week.

An attorney for Trump Jr. did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

ABC News first reported the expected meeting.

In December, the House committee released text messages that appeared to show that Trump Jr. texted then-White House chief of staff during the riot on Jan. 6, 2021, urging him to persuade the president to call off the mob of pro-Trump supporters who had stormed the Capitol.

Other members of the Trump family have recently appeared before the committee.

Ivanka Trump, the former presidents daughter and a senior White House adviser in the Trump administration, spent about eight hours this month in virtual testimony before the committee. Her husband, Jared Kushner, also a former White House adviser, testified late last month.

Kimberly Guilfoyle, Trump Jr.’s fiancée, spent more than nine hours this week with the panel, which has interviewed more than 800 witnesses.

Neither Trump nor any members of his family have been charged with crimes.

Melanija Knavs was born in , Yugoslavia, now part of present-day Slovenia, on April 26, 1970. Her father, Viktor Knavs , was from the nearby town of Radee and managed car and motorcycle dealerships for a state-owned vehicle manufacturer. Her mother Amalija came from the village of Raka and worked as a patternmaker at the children’s clothing manufacturer Jutranjka in Sevnica. As a child, Melanija and other children of workers at the factory participated in fashion shows that featured children’s clothing. She has an older sister, Ines, who is an artist and her “longtime confidant”, and an older half-brotherwhom she reportedly has never metfrom her father’s previous relationship.

Knavs grew up in a modest apartment in a housing block in Sevnica, in the Lower Sava Valley. Her father was in the League of Communists of Slovenia, which espoused a policy of state atheism. As was common, however, he had his daughters secretly baptized as Catholic. When the Trumps met Pope Francis at the Vatican in 2017, Melania brought her rosary and asked the Pope to bless it.

When Knavs was a teenager, she moved with her family to a two-story house in Sevnica. As a high-school student, she lived in a high-rise apartment in Ljubljana. She attended the Secondary School of Design and Photography in the city, and studied architecture and design at the University of Ljubljana for one year before she dropped out.

President Trump news: Former pres. appears to be preparing another run for White House

PALM BEACH, Fla. — Former President Donald Trump said he was recently visited at his Palm Beach, Florida, resort by Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager who was acquitted last week on all charges after fatally shooting two people and wounding a third during protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, last summer.

“He called. He wanted to know if he could come over, say hello, because he was a fan,” Trump said during an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity that aired Tuesday night.

Trump said Rittenhouse, 18, had left Mar-a-Lago “a little while ago,” and Hannity had earlier said that his interview with Trump took place on Monday. During the interview, Fox showed a picture of Rittenhouse posing with Trump, CNN reported.

“He came over with his mother. Really a nice young man. … That was prosecutorial misconduct. He should have not have had to suffer through a trial for that. He was going to be dead,” the former president said.

The comments were in line with ones Trump had made while in office.

A 12-juror panel deliberated more than 25 hours in the closely watched case, ultimately acquitting Rittenhouse on Friday of first-degree intentional homicide and four other felony charges in a verdict that cannot be appealed.

President Donald Trump and his team continue to dive into their grab bag of tricks to try to undermine the impeachment inquiry. Whether its criticizing the process, insulting witnesses, attacking the whistleblower, or pointing to exculpatory evidence that just doesnt exist, the next phase of public hearings is likely going to be accompanied by a heavy dose of false advertising by the President and his supporters.

While global audiences prepare to listen to public testimony, there is already ample indication that making the Trump presidency a pay-to-play operation has created serious risks for US national security. While Trump has denied any quid pro quo, witness testimony to date as well as public statements indicate otherwise.

Carl Paladino, the upstate New York developer and local political gadfly, was interested in catching up with Donald Trump in early December, so he rang up the president-elects private security guard. The next day, on Dec. 5, Paladino found himself high in Trump Tower, recounting favorite moments from the campaign and gossiping about local politics with the president-elect for 45 minutes.

He said, When are you going to be down in the city? Just call me when you get in, Paladino, the co-chair for Trumps campaign in New York who is little-known outside the state, recalled of talking to the security guard, Keith Schiller. So I called his number, and his guy told me to come in the next day at 11 oclock. He hadnt changed a bit.

Since winning the presidency, Trump has taken calls from world leaders, interviewed dozens of potential Cabinet officials and huddled with the countrys richest executives, activities that are often associated with the intense transition effort for a president-elect.
