Why Is Trump The Best President

He Agitates African Americans And People Of Colour

Trump flips out on reporter: ‘I’m the President of the United States!

Trump is no fan of Black America. In fact, Trump has repeatedly shown that Black Lives DO NOT Matter to him. Check his response to the Central Park 5 case and his work on the Birther movement. Because he believed he did not need the Black voice to win the election, I suspect he thinks African Americans are irrelevant, hence his decision not to meet with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People at their national convention.

Perhaps its time for Black America, people of colour and other disenfranchised groups to look elsewhere, maybe internally, to move our agendas. His response to Charlottesville should make his racial politics very clear. My hope is that having a White Supremacist sympathiser in the White House will produce a strong, creative and effective counter-response and a new list of leaders ready for serious long-term action.

President Trump Is An Outsider

Trumps entry into the political arena completely altered prior notions regarding politics. Until 2016, most Americans believed that anyone who wished to become president must have previous political experience. However, Trump was never a politician prior to seeking office. He earned his fortune as a successful businessman and television personality. Throughout the 2016 election, Trumps critics blasted him for his lack of political experience little did they know, the presidents outsider status would be a significant factor in his victory.

Trump Addresses Hunter Biden $50k Rent Rumor As ‘greatest’ Scam Of All Time

Former President Donald Trump is tying Hunter Biden’s rumored astronomical rent payments to a larger financial “scam” tied to his father, President Joe Biden.

President Biden has been under fire in recent days by Republicans and Democrats after classified document were discovered at two sites. House Republicans now in the majority have set their sights on multiple investigations into Hunter Biden and other aspects of the Biden administration.

Speculation has ramped up online after President Biden’s 2017 tax returns allegedly did not declare $49,910 in monthly rent payments from Hunter Biden.

“Was Joe Biden really paid $50,000 a month by Hunter for a house that’s worth comparatively very little. Who actually owns the house?” Trump, who is running for president in 2024, wrote Tuesday on Truth Social. “This is just the beginning of one of the greatest political and money laundering Scams of all time.

“However, don’t know wether or not the Rigged and Corrupt Fake News Media will want to report on it. Probably not, they’d rather report on a 75 year old Trump employee who did not pay tax on the use of a company car or apartment ,” Trump added.

His reference to the 75-year-old employee is former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg, who was sentenced last week to five months in prison for defrauding New York state and New York City by “evading payment of taxes due on $1.76 million in unreported income.”

Here Are Some Donald Trump Quotes To Remind You That He

Obviously, were still more than a year away from anyone casting their votes, so those numbers could change. But an analysis by my colleague Geoffrey Skelley in 2019 found that national primary polls in the first half of the year before the election are pretty predictive of who will win the nomination. Historically, from 1972 to 2016, candidates with high name recognition who polled in the 40s and 50s nationally won the nomination more than 75 percent of the time.

But of course, 75 percent isnt 100 percent, and were dealing with a small sample size here. In past presidentialprimaries, four candidates have polled, on average, between 40 and 60 percent in national polls in the first half of the year before the election. And three of them won their partys nomination: then-Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole in 1996, then-Vice President Al Gore in 2000 and then-Texas Gov. George W. Bush in 2000. All three had feisty challengers Dole and Bush each lost a handful of states but they won easily in the end. Its not too hard to imagine Trump following that same path in 2024.

Another source of uncertainty is the many ongoing investigations against Trump. True, Republicans so far have shown little concern over them, but if he is indicted, all bets are off the table, considering that that situation would be unprecedented. Its plausible that an indictment could affect Republican voters perceptions of Trumps electability in a general election.

Donald Trump Is The Best Ever President In The History Of The Cosmos Here’s Why

Its no longer interesting, or particularly newsworthy, to point out that Donald Trump lies. It stopped being interesting a long time ago. He lied en route to the presidency. He lied about the crowd at his inauguration. His speech itself was one big lie. And the falsehoods only metastasized from there.

Why? Weve covered that, too, most recently in all the chatter about Too Much and Never Enough, by Mary Trump, who is not only his niece but also a clinical psychologist. He lies because he grew up among liars. He lies because hyperbole and hooey buoy his fragile ego. He lies because he is practiced at it, is habituated to it and never seems to pay much of a price for it.

What intrigues me is that last part: the impunity. I want to understand how he has gotten away with all of the lying because Im desperate to know whether hell continue to.

Thats the question at the heart of his reelection bid, because his strategy isnt really law and order or racism or a demonization of liberals as monument-phobic wackadoodles or a diminution of Joe Biden as a doddering wreck. All of those gambits are there, but they spring from and burble back to a larger, overarching scheme. His strategy is fiction. His strategy is lies.

‘a Surrender Of Global Leadership’

Laura Belmonte is a history professor and dean of the Virginia Tech College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences. She is a foreign relations specialist and author of books on cultural diplomacy.

What’s Trump’s key legacy?

His attempt to surrender global leadership and replace it with a more inward-looking, fortress-like mentality. I don’t think it succeeded, but the question is how profound has the damage to America’s international reputation been – and that remains to be seen.

The moment I found jaw-dropping was the press conference he had with Vladimir Putin in 2018 in Helsinki, where he took Putin’s side over US intelligence in regard to Russian interference in the election.

I can’t think of another episode of a president siding full force with a non-democratic society adversary.

It’s also very emblematic of a larger assault on any number of multilateral institutions and treaties and frameworks that Trump has unleashed, like the withdrawal from the Paris climate accord, the withdrawal of the Iranian nuclear framework.

What else stands out to you?

Trump’s applauding Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and meeting with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un, really turning himself inside out to align the US with regimes that are the antithesis of values that the US says it wants to promote. That is something that I think was really quite distinctive.

Has Trump Been A Better President Than You Think

In 2016, a year of madness, America elected a tax-dodging fame-addict as its president, and has spent the four years since arguing about him. Donald J Trump was a real estate player and beauty queen pageant organiser whose career had been rescued from near oblivion by a reality TV show. As commander-in-chief, even as a pandemic ravaged his country, he spent large amounts of his time watching television and winding people up on social media. He mishandled Covid-19 he even caught the virus himself and under his leadership America became ever more mad and divided. Race riots tore through the nations cities after George Floyd died beneath a policemans knee on 25 May. The US president only aggravated tensions by tweeting out silly provocations.

But in years to come, when historians assess Trumps pure policy record some may present another side to the story. Because, in some respects, he has been a strangely effective president.

According to international surveys, Americas standing in the world has plummeted since Trump took office. But specific areas of his foreign policy show significant accomplishments. He hasnt started a new war . He hasnt quite managed to cease the endless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but under his administration Americas footprint in the Middle East has been lighter than at any time since the 1970s.

Matthew Continetti is a fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, focusing on the development of the Republican Party and the American conservative movement.

What’s Trump’s key legacy?

Donald Trump will be remembered as the first president to be impeached twice. He fed the myth that the election was stolen, summoned his supporters to Washington to protest the certification of the Electoral College vote, told them that only through strength could they take back their country, and stood by as they stormed the US Capitol and interfered in the operation of constitutional government.

When historians write about his presidency, they will do so through the lens of the riot.

They will focus on Trump’s tortured relationship with the alt-right, his atrocious handling of the deadly Charlottesville protest in 2017, the rise in violent right-wing extremism during his tenure in office, and the viral spread of malevolent conspiracy theories that he encouraged.

What else stands out to you?

If Donald Trump had followed the example of his predecessors and conceded power graciously and peacefully, he would have been remembered as a disruptive but consequential populist leader.

Why Donald Trump Is Republicans Worst Nightmare In 2024

Analysis by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large

Earlier this week, amid a rambling attack on the validity of the 2020 election, former President Donald Trump said this: Interesting that today a poll came out indicating Im far in the lead for the Republican Presidential Primary and the General Election in 2024.

Trump is confiding in allies that he intends to run again in 2024 with one contingency: that he still has a good bill of health, according to two sources close to the former president. That means Trump is going to hang over the Republican Party despite its attempts to rebrand during his exile and its blockade of a Trump-centric investigation into Januarys insurrection.Manhattan prosecutors pursuing a criminal case against former President Donald Trump, his company and its executives have told at least one witness to prepare for grand jury testimony, according to a person familiar with the matter a signal that the lengthy investigation is moving into an advanced stage.

Why Donald Trump Was Americas Greatest One

byMay 8, 2022, 2:18 pm50.9k Views

Whatever you think of President Trump, he got things done while he was in office.

His antagonists in the deep state and the dishonest mainstream media manufactured several of his scandals.

President Trump forged historic Middle East peace treaties, slashed regulations and taxes, restructured immigration, renegotiated trade deals, passed long-awaited criminal justice reform, and stacked the federal judiciary with conservatives at a record pace.

Meanwhile, President Trump launched an extraordinary effort to create vaccines in less than a year, even as the COVID-19 pandemic wrecked the economy and cost him reelection.

Many feel changing the courts will be his lasting legacy.

Trump appointed 226 federal judges in four years, including three Supreme Court justices, with the support of Kentucky Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. In eight years, Obama appointed 320 judges and Clinton 367.

While the Supreme Court gets most of the attention, the 13 federal appeals courts are even more vital. This is one less than President Obama appointed in two terms, although he flipped three courts from Democratic to Republican.

The federal circuit courts, below the Supreme Court, typically play significant roles in employment law, environmental policy, and restraining the power of the bureaucratic state.

Others consider Trumps substantial reduction of regulations and tax cuts for corporations among his greatest achievements.

Top 10 Reasons Why Joe Biden Is Better Than Donald Trump

1Biden serves as President because he cares about the country whereas Trump served as President for the power.

He was motivated by Charlottesville, because it was so sickening to see a President who inappropriately said that many in both sides were fine, but isn’t joining with white supremacists an evil thing, and that everyone should condemn their fascist ideology?I partially agree with you that he ran because of power, but I think it’s more about his ego. He is so unfit for office, and often brags about his ratings, victory, and crowd size.

2Biden listens to the doctors and scientists whereas Trump blows them off and makes up things of his own.

Its really sad at this point

3Biden accepts democracy no matter what whereas Trump would only accept democracy when he wins.4Biden cares a lot about climate change.

Trump honestly doesn’t care about the world or even his supporters, he just wants everything to go his way. Biden, on the other hand, really cares about climate change and saving the planet.

Good thing he shut down the keystone pipeline. Also, it was just nearly 1,000 jobs lost , whereas most of them were temporary. You can easily find another job like this.

5Biden supports LGBTQ+ in his very later years.

Trump does support gay marriage, but I don’t get his Transgender military ban. Was he looking for a victory for Republicans or something? Biden supports LBGTQ+ rights, and he just lifted his Transgender military ban, which is a win.

A Dearth Of Shared Facts And Information

One of the few things that Republicans and Democrats could agree on during Trumps tenure is that they didnt share the same set of facts. In a 2019 survey, around three-quarters of Americans said most Republican and Democratic voters disagreed not just over political plans and policies, but over basic facts.

Much of the disconnect between the parties involved the news media, which Trump routinely disparaged as fake news and the enemy of the people. Republicans, in particular, expressed widespread and growing distrust of the press. In a 2019 survey, Republicans voiced more distrust than trust in 2o of the 30 specific news outlets they were asked about, even as Democrats expressed more trust than distrust in 22 of those same outlets. Republicans overwhelmingly turned to and trusted one outlet included in the study Fox News even as Democrats used and expressed trust in a wider range of sources. The study concluded that the two sides placed their trust in two nearly inverse media environments.

Some of the media organizations Trump criticized most vocally saw the biggest increases in GOP distrust over time. The share of Republicans who said they distrusted CNN rose from 33% in a 2014 survey to 58% by 2019. The proportion of Republicans who said they distrusted The Washington Post and The New York Times rose 17 and 12 percentage points, respectively, during that span.3
