What Did Trump Say About The Sarasota Rally
In a statement a Trump spokesperson said: President Donald J. Trumpwill hold a major rally in Sarasota.
This Save America rally is co-sponsored by the Republican Party of Florida and marks President Trumps further support of the MAGA agenda and accomplishments of his administration.
It will feature a HUGE fireworks show to celebrate America following President Trumps remarks to conclude a full day event commemorating our Great Country, the statement adds.
Florida GOP Chair Joe Gruters told The Herald Tribune: Its going to be an absolutely amazing event. Its going to include fireworks and a lot of other great things.
Its going to be a very patriotic and exciting day and Im so thankful were going to be able to host him here.

Former President Donald Trump is hosting another Saturday night special.
Trumps Save America PAC announced Wednesday that the 45th president would hold the second of four planned campaign-style rallies July 3 in Sarasota, Fla., followed by a fireworks show to mark the Independence Day holiday.
The announcement noted that the rally would be co-sponsored by the Republican Party of Florida, Trumps home state.
Trump is scheduled to hold his first post-White House rally this coming Saturday in Wellington, Ohio. It will be the first time he addresses supporters in such a setting since the Jan. 6 Stop the Steal rally which precipitated the deadly riot at the US Capitol.
The Ohio rally is meant to boost the House campaign of former Trump adviser Max Miller, who is challenging GOP Rep. Anthony Gonzalez. Gonzalez was one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump on a single count of incitement of insurrection over the Capitol riot. In a February statement endorsing Miller, Trump said Gonzalez should not be representing the people of the 16th district because he does not represent their interest or their heart.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. Former President Donald Trump is coming to Miami just two days before Election Day. But one Republican wont be there Gov. Ron DeSantis. Not yet anyway.
Trump on Wednesday said hell hold a rally with Sen. Marco Rubio on Nov. 6. DeSantis was left off the announcement and an adviser to the former president said the Florida governor is not attending.
The apparent snub angered some people within DeSantis orbit, who complained that the Florida governors team was not informed of the rally prior to Trump announcing it. The timing of the Trump and Rubio event means any campaign event DeSantis holds that day wont get as much attention during the all-important final stretch of the 2022 midterms.
Youve got the Sunday before Election Day totally hijacked by Trump parachuting in on Trump Force One taking up the whole day, said a longtime Republican consultant who is close to the governor. No Republican could go to a DeSantis event that day. None. And DeSantis wont be here? This is big.

President Trumps campaign branded tonights rally as a blockbuster re-election launch. They jazzed it up with new signs, a live band outside the venue and even trotted out the First Family and Vice President on stage for show.
But the minute President Trump took the stage, the crowd at the Amway Center heard the same message that Trump supporters have gotten for the last four years.
Immigration. Fake news. Democrats. Hillary Clinton. Even shot at the Academy Awards. The President is relying on his old playbook and continuing to air his grievances, just like he did before.

Donald Trump may be one of the most frequently snubbed men in history. Before his death, Senator John McCain let it be known that he didnt want Trump at his funeral. Trump Briefly Mentions Biden And Calls Him Sleepy Joe

Though he has repeatedly slammed Hillary Clinton tonight, President Trump made two brief references to 2020 rival Joe Biden in Orlando at his 2020 kickoff rally.
While touting the economy under his administration, Trump referenced former President Barack Obama’s “magic wand” comments regarding the GDP.
“Well tell Sleepy Joe that we found the magic wand. Sleepy guy,” he said, quickly moving on to the next portion of his speech.
He also made a passing reference to Biden earlier when he was talking about China.
“We have never taken in 10 cents from China. We would lose $500 billion a year with China. We rebuilt China. They have done a great job, but they took us for suckers. And that includes Obama and Biden. They took us for suckers,” Trump said.
He did not mention any of the other Democratic contenders by name.
Trump Attracts Thousands To Sarasota Rally Urging Fight For Conservative Policies
SARASOTA In a return to campaign-style rallies in Florida, former President Donald Trump urged his supporters in Sarasota to fight for conservative policies at every level.
Saturdays Save America Rally in Sarasota attracted a record crowd to the Sarasota Fairgrounds, organizers said. The event gave Trumps most fervent supporters an opportunity to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday weekend with the 45th president and other conservative firebrands.
Together we will take back the House, take back the Senate and we will save America, Trump said.
Theres only one way to save our nation, he added. We have to work for a victory in the mid-terms next year. We have to keep fighting like we are right now.
As he addressed the crowd, Trump looked back on his record while he was president. He touted his efforts to improve the economy, secure the border and support the military.
The difference under President Joe Biden has been stark, Trump contended. Since leaving office, Trump argued the countrys status as a foreign policy leader and the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border have declined. He also denounced Critical Race Theory, calls to defund the police and Bidens proposed tax increases.
What weve done is going to get better and better. The beautiful thing is people will see how bad it can go and how quickly it can be taken away, Trump said.

Former President Donald Trump is holding a rally at the Sarasota Fairgrounds, 3000 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota, on Saturday, July 3. The event is the second in a series of events that the former president is calling his Save America tour, which kicks off in Ohio this weekend.
The Sarasota event will begin at 8 p.m. doors will open at 2. A fireworks show will follow Trumps speech. Trump held a rally at the fairgrounds during his first campaign for the presidency, in November 2015, and has many ties to elected officials in the area.
We are thrilled to be hosting President Trump as he launches out on his next voyage to continue making American great, state Sen. Joe Gruters, R-Sarasota, said in a press release. Gruters is the chairman of the Republican Party of Florida and the Republican Party of Sarasota County.
We played an important role in his election and we want to show our support for his strong leadership as president, Gruters said, according to the release.
Heres What Trump Said At His First Return To Rallies After He Left The White House
Trump returned to his familiar conspiracy theory mongering about a rigged 2020 election and lashed out at new targets like critical race theory and his own conservative Supreme Court at a comeback rally in Ohio earlier this month.
He also vowed, as has been apparent for months now, that he would never stop fighting to challenge the 2020 election results, which numerous analyses, bipartisan expert testimonies, lawsuits, and audits have declared free of any meaningful irregularities.
Well never stop fighting for the true results in this election, the former president said. Im not the one trying to undermine American democracy. Im the one thats trying to save American democracy, adding, Who the hell knows what will happen in 2024? Were not going to have a country left. If we dont figure it out, we wont be in a position to win in 2022.

Trump Rally Updates: Trump Supporters Want A 2024 Presidential Bid
Former President Donald Trump will arrive at the Arizona Federal Theatre on Saturday as the state Senate continues a months-long review of the 2020 Maricopa County ballots.
Slated for attendance at the theater on Saturday included most of the Republicans competing in the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial and U.S. Senate primary races.
The event, hosted by Turning Point Action, a Phoenix-based political organization headed by conservative Charlie Kirk, will give Republicans an opportunity to pitch their candidacies.
But many of the expected thousands in attendance will want to know if Trump will run for president in 2024.

Trump Recognizes Sarah Sanders: We’re Gonna Miss Her

President Trump appeared to again break from prepared remarks to recognize outgoing press secretary Sarah Sanders, who tweeted earlier today that this was her last trip aboard Air Force One as a member of the White House staff.
“My only special interest is you I dont have a special interest, I dont care. And by the way, by the way, a woman who has been so good so talented so wonderful and were sort of going to be losing, I have a feeling shes going to be running for a certain gubernatorial position,” Trump said
He continued: “But a woman whos a special woman, and her father, by the way, hes out there fighting for us all the time, Sarah Huckabee Sanders.”
Trump then beckoned her to the stage for brief remarks, where she appeared to receive the biggest applause of the evening.
Her voice appearing to crack, Sanders called it the “honor of a lifetime” and said she had the opportunity to sit on “front row of history and watch you drastically change our country for the better.”
She told the crowd she will spend time with her kids but will continue to be a strong voice for the administration.
“We’re gonna miss her,” he said as he re-took the podium, calling Sanders a “warrior.”
Desantiss Invitation Got Lost In The Mail
People in DeSantiss orbit are reportedly furious that he hasnt been invited, as Trumps rally will suck up all the attention in Florida on the last weekend of the campaign. Per Politico:

But could this all be a misunderstanding? Trump has been warning us for years that you cant trust the United States Postal Service what if DeSantiss invitation just hasnt arrived yet? Maybe his aides shouldve considered that before running to Politico to blame Trump.
