Inappropriate: Leftist Reporter Slammed For Trying To Tie Trump To Nevada Journalists Alleged Murder By Sisolak Appointee Democrat Official

Obama’s handwritten letter to President Trump revealed

A Democrat official in Clark County, Nevada, was arrested on suspicion of murderingLas Vegas Journal-Review investigative reporter Jeff German but instead of asking questions about the case, a reporter asked about President Donald Trumps supposed normalization of violence against journalists.

Clark County Sheriff and Republican Gubernatorial candidate Joe Lombardo, whom Trump endorsed in the race to snag Gov. Steve Sisolaks seat, was taking questions at a press conference on Thursday about the case when Dana Gentry with the Nevada Currentasked him if he condemns the former president.

Now is probably not the appropriate time to talk politics but do you condemn Gentry began, before Lombardo replied, So why are we talking politics then?

Do you condemn former President Trumps normalization of violence against journalists? Gentry continued.

Lombardo said the case press conference was an inappropriate venue to speculate on that or opine on that.

The 45th President Of The United States

Donald J. Trump launched the most extraordinary political movement in history, dethroning political dynasties, defeating the Washington Establishment, and becoming the first true outsider elected as President of the United States. His inspiring, groundbreaking campaign proved pollsters, pundits, prognosticators, and the corporate media spectacularly wrong. He mobilized voters with massive rallies, reached America’s hearts and minds with his vision for national rejuvenation, and overcame virtually every entrenched power structurepolitical and financialand achieved a decisive victory, winning states no Republican presidential candidate had won in decades.

The forgotten men and women of America were forgotten no more because we finally had a President who put America First.

Through his pro-American policies on trade, taxes, energy, regulation, immigration, and healthcare, President Trump ushered in a period of unprecedented economic growth, job creation, soaring wages, and booming incomes. Median household income reached its highest level ever recorded. Middle-class family income increased more than five times from the previous administration. Unemployment reached its lowest rate in half a century. African-American, Hispanic-American, and Asian-American unemployment reached their lowest levels ever recorded. And more Americans were employed than ever before.

Presidential Campaign And 2011 Hints At Presidential Run

In 2000, Trump ran in the California and Michigan primaries for nomination as the Reform Party candidate for the 2000 United States presidential election but withdrew from the race in February 2000. A July 1999 poll matching him against likely Republican nominee George W. Bush and likely Democratic nominee Al Gore showed Trump with seven percent support.

In 2011, Trump speculated about running against President Barack Obama in the 2012 election, making his first speaking appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February 2011 and giving speeches in early primary states. In May 2011, he announced he would not run, and he endorsed Mitt Romney in February 2012. Trumps presidential ambitions were generally not taken seriously at the time.

But they noted that the agency underwent the system migration process âjust three weeks after the attack on the Capitol in which the Vice President of the United States, while under the protection of the Secret Service, was steps from a violent mob hunting for him.â

âFour House committees had already sought these critical records from the Department of Homeland Security before the records were apparently lost,â Thompson and Cheney added. âThe Select Committee is seeking additional Secret Service records as well. Every effort must be made to retrieve the lost data as well.â

The select committee issued the subpoena after being informed that Secret Service texts from Jan. 5 and Jan. 6 of that year had been erased as a result of a âdevice-replacement program.â The inspector general for the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees the Secret Service, briefed the select panel about the missing texts hours before the subpoena was issued Friday night, news outlets reported.

The inspector general, Joseph Cuffari, had previously told congressional committees that the messages had been deleted after his office had asked the Secret Service for electronic communications records tied to the Capitol riot.

A senior Secret Service official told NBC that agency employees had been reminded in two separate emails to preserve records on their mobile devices before that replacement process began.

The panelâs next public hearing is set for 8 p.m. ET Thursday.

Letter To President Trump Regarding Family Separation

Join us in wishing a very Happy Birthday to President Trump, who turns ...

Recipient: President Donald Trump

Dear President Trump,

We, the undersigned national, state, and local organizations write to urge you to end the systematic and cruel separation of families apprehended at the U.S. border. Increased family separation at the border comes at a time when immigration enforcement has already torn apart families across the country, at places of worship, schools, and workplaces. Mothers and fathers who have lived in the U.S. for decades are being forced to decide whether they should leave their American children behind in the care of others for a secure and brighter future, or take them with them to a country now foreign to them. Children and young people are having to grow up fast as their mothers and fathers are forcibly taken away by Immigration and Customs Enforcement .

The American Academy of Pediatrics has condemned these policies, saying that highly stressful experiences, like family separation, can cause irreparable harm, disrupting a childs brain architecture and affecting his or her short- and long-term health. This type of prolonged exposure to serious stress known as toxic stress can carry lifelong consequences for children.

Tearing apart families does nothing to make us safer or stronger, and separating children from their parents betrays our deeply held American values.

We demand that you end these callous and cruel policies against immigrants and their families immediately.

Sincerely,

SEIU

Read Trumps Letter To Pelosi Protesting Impeachment

We fact-checked President Trumps rambling and angry letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi in which he expressed his most powerful protest against the impeachment process. The House is expected to vote on two articles of impeachment against Mr. Trump on Wednesday.

Speaker of the House of Representatives
Washington, D.C. 20515

Dear Madam Speaker:

I write to express my strongest and most powerful protest against the partisan impeachment crusade being pursued by the Democrats in the House of Representatives. This impeachment represents an unprecedented and unconstitutional abuse1 of power by Democrat Lawmakers, unequaled in nearly two and a half centuries of American legislative history.

The Articles of Impeachment introduced by the House Judiciary Committee are not recognizable under any standard of Constitutional theory, interpretation, or jurisprudence. They include no crimes2, no misdemeanors, and no offenses whatsoever. You have cheapened the importance of the very ugly word, impeachment!

You are turning a policy disagreement between two branches of government into an impeachable offense it is no more legitimate than the Executive Branch charging members of Congress with crimes for the lawful exercise of legislative power.

There is nothing I would rather do than stop referring to your party as the Do-Nothing Democrats. Unfortunately, I dont know that you will ever give me a chance to do so.

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act was passed in 1991 under President George H.W. Bush to protect the public from receiving unwanted telemarketer calls. Today, it equally applies to unsolicited text messages. Marketers must receive prior express written consent from their clients before texting them and adding them to their subscription lists.

Like many other organizations that use SMS marketing, the Donald Trump presidential campaign allows supporters to sign up for text message updates by texting an SMS short code. Supporters must supply their zip code in order to be signed up for news from the campaign.

Thornes attorney, Joseph Siprut of Siprut PC, has stated that based on the information we have at this point, were very confident that a violation was made and we intend to pursue it to the gates of hell. As of this writing, the Trump campaign has yet to comment.

A Letter To President Trump

Dear President Trump,

I have heard various people saying that the FBI is going to investigate and expose the theft of the 2020 election, and the Department of Justice is going to prosecute the people behind it. Sir, I doubt theres enough honest, patriotic FBI agents left in the agency, that care about America or the integrity of the election system, to do the right thing. If the FBIs past behavior is any indication, the FBI will lie about it and cover it up to protect the people who rigged the election.

Sir, even if there were enough honest and just FBI agents, willing to do their job honestly, whatever acts of criminality they uncover will be concealed from the public by the leaders of the FBI, denied by the lying Marxist media, and buried by the Department of Injustice. Because of that, I fear that nothing short of another bloody civil war will end the tyranny of socialist Democrats.

In addition, since taking office, Christopher Wray and Bill Barr have been stonewalling. I need not remind you Sir, that under Wrays leadership, the FBI sat on Hunter Bidens laptop and withheld critical information that voters deserved to know before the election. That means Wray and his agents refused to act in the best interest of the people or the country. That speaks volumes about the FBIs lack of dedication to truth and justice.

Your Friend, Admirer and Supporter,

Charles Wills

Its Not Over: A New History Of Trumps Presidency Is Also A Warning

This doorstop of a work in the end is not only and maybe not even principally about the just-past past but rather the potential and imminent future.

Then-President Donald Trump speaks to journalists in Charlotte, N.C. prior to a campaign rally on Nov. 1, 2020. | Evan Vucci/AP Photo

Michael Kruse is a senior staff writer at POLITICO and POLITICO Magazine.

The first crack at a comprehensive history of the four years of the presidency of Donald Trump reads at times less like history and more like a warning.

The Divider: Trump in the White House, 2017-2021, by Peter Baker and Susan Glasser and just published today, is based on their time covering Trump Baker for the New York Times, Glasser for the New Yorker as well as more than 300 original interviews done specifically for the book. As exhaustive as this volume is, as compelling as it is, and as many dishy, scoopy, newly reported pieces of information as there are, this doorstop of a work in the end is not only and maybe not even principally about the just-past past but rather the potential and imminent future.

The historical record in this live-action threat to American democracy needs to be filled out, Glasser told me. We have to understand it as fully as possible.

We want this to be for history, but it has very real-world relevance today, Baker said. Whats past is prologue. This is the ultimate case study of that. You can see what the next term would be like.

Where are we going? the patient asks.

Justice Department Urged To Investigate Deletion Of January 6 Texts By Pentagon

Watchdog group calls on Merrick Garland asked to investigate deleted phone messages from senior Trump officials

The US attorney general, Merrick Garland, has been asked to investigate yet another deletion of text messages and other communications by senior officials on 6 January 2021, this time by the Pentagon.

American Oversight, a non-partisan watchdog group, revealed the shock deletion on Tuesday, having discovered it through freedom of information requests to the Department of Defense.

The DoD and the army admitted in court filings to American Oversight that the phone messages of senior Trump officials were wiped after the administration handover, including text messages from January 6, the day of the deadly attack on Congress by supporters of Donald Trump.

Similar deletions of communications around January 6 by the Department of Homeland Security and the Secret Service were already the subject of considerable controversy.

The Department of Justice and the House January 6 committee continue to investigate Trumps attempt to overturn his election defeat.

In an open letter to Garland, American Oversight said: We urge you to investigate DoDs failure to preserve the text messages of several high-ranking officials on or surrounding the day of the January 6 attack.

The Pentagons sluggish response to the Capitol attack remains the subject of widespread speculation and investigation.

Emails Show Trump Pressured Justice Dept Over 2020 Election

President Trump

WASHINGTON During the last weeks of his presidency, Donald Trump and his allies pressured the Justice Department to investigate unsubstantiated claims of widespread 2020 election fraud that even his former attorney general declared without evidence, newly released emails show.

The emails, released Tuesday by the House Oversight Committee, reveal in new detail how Trump, his White House chief of staff and other allies pressured members of the U.S. government to challenge the 2020 election over false claims.

Officials at Homeland Security and the Justice Department, as well as Republican election leaders across the country, repeatedly said there was no pervasive fraud. Former Attorney General William Barr, a longtime Trump loyalist, was among those who said there was no evidence of such fraud.

The emails also show the extent to which Trump worked to enlist then-acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen in his campaigns failing legal efforts to challenge the election result, including suggesting filing a brief with the U.S. Supreme Court.

Those sent to Rosen include debunked conspiracy theories and false information about voter fraud. Trumps lies about the election helped spur on the mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 in a failed effort to stop the certification of Joe Bidens victory.

It didnt happen, and on Jan. 3 another Justice official wrote that the cause of justice won.

The Claim: Trumps Letter To Biden Says You Know I Won

After sidestepping nearly every significant tradition in the transfer of power, now former President Donald Trump did uphold one routine of an outgoing president leaving his predecessor a note.

President Joe Biden alongside Vice President Kamala Harris was inaugurated on Jan. 20.

However, despite no evidence of widespread fraud and dozens of failures in court, some of Trumps supporters and allies are continuing to push baseless conspiracy theories about a stolen election.

Following the revelation that Trump had left Biden a note, people took to social media to speculate about whatit said.

One Instagram post, from a Florida-based lifestyle account, shared an image of a note that reads Joe, you know I won, with the supposed signature of Trump on White House stationery. USA TODAY was unable to reach the poster for comment.

The same letter was also shared here on this blog post and has 1,278,988 views as of Jan. 22.

The image also was widely shared across social media.

What does Trumps note to Biden say?

The tradition of an outgoing president leaving letters for his successor is relatively new, but the practice has been upheld since Ronald Reagan wrote to George H.W. in 1989. Trump received a letter from Obama in 2017, which said in part, Regardless of the push and pull of daily politics, its up to us to leave those instruments of our democracy at least as strong as we found them.
