A Department of Justice spokesperson called Nadler’s subpoena “premature and unnecessary,” detailing that the publicly released version of the report had “minimal redactions” and that Barr had made arrangements for Nadler and other lawmakers to review a version of the final report with fewer redactions.
House majority leader Steny Hoyer said, “Based on what we have seen to date, going forward on impeachment is not worthwhile at this point.” while Speaker Nancy Pelosi was more noncommittal, telling the majority caucus: “We will update you on the next steps that must be taken. The caucus held a conference call on April 22 to discuss the matter. It was decided to go full bore on the investigations and deal with actual impeachment later.
After reading the report, Representative Justin Amash in May 2019 became the first Republican member of Congress to call for Trump’s impeachment, saying Trump had engaged in “impeachable conduct”. Amash was also critical of Attorney General Barr, stating that he felt Barr had deliberately misrepresented the contents of the report. Shortly thereafter, former long-serving Republican congressman Tom Coleman also called for Trump’s impeachment. In addition, conservative attorney George Conway, husband of Kellyanne Conway, called for Trump’s impeachment.
Nuclear Crisis Fades But Threat Remains
The potential problem arises from Trumps personality colliding with a nuclear strategy based on having rational actors on both sides. Even at the height of the Cold War, the mutually assured destruction theory assumed that leaders of the Soviet Union and the U.S. would not risk their countries very existence for the possibility of some relatively minor geopolitical gain.
Congress in the 1950s ceded its war-making authority when it came to nuclear weapons on the argument that it was impossible to insert a legislative body into the decision-making process when missiles launched from Russia could hit the United States in a mere 30 minutes. That time constraint, in fact, gave us the system still in use now, in which the president can, by himself, order the use of nuclear weapons using codes that are carried by a military aide in his immediate presence at all times.
These coded orders are transmitted to a war room in the Pentagon, where the officer on duty relays them to the appropriate missile silos, bombers and submarines. The entire process was designed to take only a few minutes, on the idea that deterrence was increased if the Soviets knew that a retaliatory strike would be underway before their first warheads even landed.
That game theory starts to break down, though, when one of the participants does not behave rationally, and it falls apart completely when both do not.
When you have two irrational actors, its kind of scary, Wilson said.

Is it okay to have a conspiracy to get rid of Trump? Liberal atheist Democrat talk show host Bill Maher asked his two Democrat guests the straight-up, point-blank, number one question about the 2020 suppression of the Hunter Biden story in this clip, and they both indicate they are totally fine with it.
Maher calls it what it was: a conspiracy. He referenced Sam Harris recently saying on a podcast that of course there was a conspiracy to silence the story and that he was totally fine with it. Maher also spells out point blank that the laptop is real, the data found was real, the New York Post story was real, and that Hunter was selling influence. Which everyone knows but liberals somehow still avoid saying outright.
He asked megadonor Hollywood leftwing nutjob Rob Reiner and extremist liberal Democrat Amy Klobuchar if thats okay.
Each in their own way indicated assent. Reiner by blathering nonsensically and Klobuchar with the most blatantly pointed dodge in the history of politics.
As liberals like to say, silence is consent. And these two were NOT silent, they were winking and nodding YES to the question.
So if youre keeping track, the media and Democrats are admitting to colluding in a conspiracy to suppress a news story, they are confirming it happened, Zuckerberg has confirmed the FBI was in on it, and everyone, including a former and probably future Democrat presidential candidate are all saying they have no regrets and nothing to apologize for.

Former President Donald Trump is in deep trouble after he confirmed thatFBI agents legally searched his Mar-a-Lago golf club house. The reason top officials in the United States Government decided to do this is directly linked to reports of the former president getting rid of presidential documents written by him. There are pictures of these documents torn apart and thrown in the toilet inside the White House.
Why is this important, because of the Presidential Records Act, which forbids any sitting or former president to get rid of any document that was produced during their tenure. Trump reportedly disposed these documents while still in office, which prompted this investigation and search into his . But this quickly turned into a potential civil war that is being pushed by his supporters.
Unredacted Version Of Mueller Report
The House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed the unredacted Mueller report and Attorney General Barr has rebuffed this, leading to a contempt citation from the committee. A lawsuit is also contemplated.
On July 26, 2019, the Judiciary Committee asked federal judge Beryl Howell, who oversaw the Mueller grand juries, to unseal the secret testimony because the committee is “investigating whether to recommend articles of impeachment” to the full House. Howell ruled in favor of the request on October 25, 2019, finding the impeachment investigation legitimate.
On November 18, 2019, The House counsel filed a brief with Judge Howell to release the materials immediately, as redacted grand jury testimony appeared to show the President perjured himself before the Mueller probe and it was part of the impeachment inquiry.
On December 16, another brief by the HJC, said that they still needed the materials, as some redacted materials appear to be related to the Ukraine matter.Previously, an appellate court had scheduled oral arguments in the case for January 3, 2020.

Impeaching 74-year-old President Donald Trump Jan. 13 for spurious reasons, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi took out all her wrath the man who frequently called her crazing Nancy. Well crazy Nancy got the last laugh so far, unleashing the anti-Trump demons in the Democrat-controlled House, essentially weaponizing her Article 1 power, the unconstitutional use of impeachment. Impeachment was intended by the Founding Fathers to rid the fledgling democracy of a tyrant, criminal or both. Llike everything else under the rule of law, lawmakers, like Pelosi, arent allowed to invent their own laws or make up definitions for ramming a square peg into a round hole. Pelosi did just that when she charged Trump with incitement of insurrection, something that turns insurrection on its head. Rioters that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 werent seeking to overthrow the U.S. government.
Developments Following The 2016 Election
Although Trump’s campaign drew a substantial amount of criticism, Trump received 90 percent of the Republican vote, while Clinton won 89 percent of Democratic voters.
After Trump won the election, two Electoral College electors launched an effort to convince fellow electors who were allocated to Trump to vote against him.
On December 11, Jim Himes, a Democratic member of the House of Representatives, wrote on that the Electoral College should not elect Trump: “We’re 5 wks from Inauguration & the President Elect is completely unhinged. The Electoral College must do what it was designed for”. In a December 12 interview on CNN‘s New Day, Himes said he was troubled by several actions by the President-elect. The issue that “pushed over the edge” was Trump’s criticism of the CIA and the intelligence community. The Congressman did admit Trump won “fair and square”, but he said that Trump proved himself unfit for public office. He cited the intentions behind the creation of the Electoral College and argued that it was created for an instance such as the election of Trump.
In the end, efforts to persuade more electors to vote against Trump ultimately failed and Trump won 304 electors on December 19. Trump’s electoral lead over Clinton even grew because a larger number of electors defected from her: Trump received 304 of his 306 pledged electors, Clinton 227 of her 232.

A person close to some of the biggest real estate executives in New York who backed Trump during both of his runs for the White House said this time is different. Their view is he’s taken “major hits” during the Jan. 6 hearings. None from that group are coming to defend him, at least for now.
“The silence is deafening,” this person added.
The lack of interest in Trump by some of the wealthiest Republican donors could boost fundraising efforts for other GOP presidential hopefuls. Multiple Republicans could run in 2024, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C. and Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark. Scott is up for reelection in 2022 but recently headlined an event in Iowa, a key state for candidates running for president. Cotton reportedly has huddled with donors to discuss a possible 2024 run.
The former president has not publicly ruled out running for the White House again in two years after losing to President Joe Biden in 2020. Despite a lack of support from corporate leaders, Trump has maintained a massive campaign war chest thanks largely to small-dollar donors.
Dozens Of Trump Supporters Take The Streets
Not long after the search took place, dozens of Trump supporters took to the streets to protest the actions from the American Government. Many of them are even pushing civil war because they feel like the Democrats are finally going to try to lock the former president up. Amongst the people marching, there are even reported rioters from the .
Earlier on Tuesday, a Judge from the January 6 committee also approved for Donald Trump’s tax returns to be investigated. Walls are closing in on the former president, he could finally pay for the crimes he’s commited but his supporters will go down with him until the last breath. Although the idea of a civil war still seems far from reality, these marches and protests are beginning to set a very dangerous precedent in modern American history.
Donald Trump is famous for his tactics of dividing American citizens, this is just another example of how much influence he has in roughly half of the population who vote. The American Government needs to speed things up with the former president and the investigation into his many crimes. Otherwise, there could be a civil war brewing very soon.

Context: The 2020 Us Election Explained
I published an article in July 2016 stating that I believed that Donald Trump had narcissistic personality disorder, and tried to warn America what would be in store for it if we elected him president. Exactly four years ago, on the eve of the US presidential election, I wrote an article predicting that Trump would win. My view was based largely on the belief that Hillary Clintons intended coronation was premature, that she was a flawed candidate, and that Trump had succeeded in tapping into an important vein in American political culture the neglected blue-collar voter. I published that article at 3:00 the morning after the election, one of the very first to have acknowledged the birth of Trumpism.
In that piece, I wrote:
We have seen the result of four years under his thumb. America has rarely been more partisan or divided. Those who yearned for an Ozzie-and-Harriet vision of America have become more emboldened four years later, apparently believing that America can once again become a bastion of white conservatism, replete with racism, bigotry and misogyny. That is unlikely to happen. America has become too diverse, and sufficient progress has been made toward equality to revert to that sad vision. The partisanship will surely only continue to get worse in the coming four years. The question is, can we ever return to a time when bipartisanship reigns?
Impeachment Would Be Very Nice But Unless The Democrats Win More Than A Solid Majority In Congress That Strategy Winning Is Highly Unlikely The Present House Is Unlikely To Vote To Impeach And The Present Senate Is Unlikely To Convict
Conviction of a crime, with prosecution by Robert Mueller, is still the best bet. Of course, Trump has a few ways out of that. One is getting rid of Mueller. The other is the power of pardon.
The question of whether Trump could pardon himself is contentious. Some say its possible, others say no.
However, theres one maneuver which would permit Trump to be pardoned and still remain as president. He could be pushed aside under the 25th Amendment, which would give Mike Pence all the presidential powers. Pence could pardon Trump and then Trump could be readmitted to office.
Nothing in the 25th Amendment says that a President removed under that law loses his right to office permanently. Section 3 of the amendment says: Whenever the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that he is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, and until he transmits to them a written declaration to the contrary, such powers and duties shall be discharged by the Vice President as Acting President. In other words, Trump can remove himself through his own declaration and restore himself to office through a later declaration. In the meantime, Pence can pardon him.
This strategy might also work if Trump decides to pardon Flynn and Manafort to undercut Muellers use of either or both as witnesses against Trump. Trump is already threatening to use the pardon power in this way.

Controversial Trump pardons include those of Joe Arpaio, convicted of ignoring a court order to stop police misconduct with regard to immigration enforcement Dinesh D’Souza, convicted of campaign finance violations and three military servicemembers convicted of war crimes.Impeachment has notably been suggested as a remedy for abuse of pardon power by James Madison during the debate over ratification of the U.S. Constitution, and William Howard Taft in a 1925 Supreme Court decision.
