What Does An Integrated Led Fixture Mean
Put simply, integrated LEDs are all-in-one fittings that contain both a light source and an external fixture. They typically connect directly to mainline voltage without needing any other components or accessories.
Retrofit LEDs are standard bulbs that look similar to traditional incandescent or halogen bulbs and screw directly into existing fixtures.

There are two different methods that you can use to install your aspectLED Ultra-Thin recessed LED lights. The amount of vertical clearance that you have at the light location will usually help you to decide which method to choose.
If you have at least 1.75 of space above your drywall, you will usually choose the conventional installation method. If you have a pipe, wire, joist or other obstacle in your way, you may be able to use the conventional installation method, if you have enough room to get a junction box through your hole. If you have less than 1.75 of space above your drywall, youll typically use the low clearance installation method.
Incorrect Power And Surge Wattage
When a lamp is first installed, it requires more power than if it had been running on a consistent basis for some time. This extra power can put a strain on the LED lamps and cause them to flicker, typically as a result of a drop or surge in power. To prevent this issue, it is recommended to move larger-load items to a high-volt circuit. This eliminates the pressure on the entire voltage load, thus eliminating the risk of flickering.

Purchased a new can light from Menards. Switched the old broken light for the new one.
When the new light failed to work, I was forced to contact an electrician since at that point figured it was some kind of major electrical/wiring issue. Turns out the electrician found the new light was defective.
Had the new light been good, the only cost would have been the $13 spent for the new light vs the $188 I had to pay the electrician who replaced a new fixture, light & labor. I returned the defective product to Menards today but believe there should be some reimbursement for the charges an electrician charged.

What Would Cause My Led Tape To Flash When Plugged In
I just removed our new tape lighting and plugged it in. The brand name is Patriot Lighting 12 volt 16.4 flexible LED tape light.
All it does is flash on and off. Any suggestions?
CFLs and LEDs can be very sensitive to leakage currents, especially when turned off. It doesnt take much leakage to make them flash. Lutron has a line of dimmers that are adjustable that should help.

Basically, whats happening is that the power supply is trying to charge itself up far enough to light the LED, reaches that point, turns the LED on and promptly drains the capacitor, and repeats the process a low-voltage equivalent of how xenon strobes work.
If once you plug the LED Tape into the transformer and you turn it on and it flashes on and off in a consistent motion. By this I mean a kind of slow strobe then the reason for this would be one of 2 reasons.
