Patriot Getaways And Hearthside Cabins
My family is making a trip to the Smokey Mtns. for Springbreak. We always, always stay in Gatlinburg. This year though, I’m having trouble finding a cabin that fits my needs. Everything I’m finding in Gatlinburg is either too dated or brand new and beautiful, but the cabins are all built on top of each other. So, I’ve decided to try a rental company in Pigeon Forge. I found Patriot Getaways and Hearthside Cabins. The cabins at both places look very nice and I like so many of them. My question is, as most posters, has anyone stayed with either of these rental companies? Any comments or advise would be appreciated.
Tripadvisor staff removed this post either because the author requested it, or because it did not meet Tripadvisor’s forum guidelines.
I’ve stayed with Hearthside Cabins before, and am actually staying with them again this weekend! They were nothing but helpful the entire time, even through all of the questions I had and suggested cabins that would be the best fit for us. I think most of the people that work in the office are family, so they treat their customers like family too.
I guess all I should have said is that I highly recommend them! Hope you find something you love!
We go to Pigeon Forge several times a year and we always stay with Century 21 cove mountain realty and rentals it is on Wears Valley road.They have always given us excellent service.
Oh I am checking out Hearthside Cabins and I looked at PASSION’S PEAK that is really really nice.

We rented a cabin from here Jan 7. Lost power for an entire day on the 8th. Very very poor communication, only heard if I called them. Had to spend an entire day spending money on food and gas because it was too cold in the cabin and our plans were to cook our groceries. Then was told to go to a different cabin, which was 45 minutes away and COMPLETELY INACCESSIBLE due to ice and extremely steep driveway and we were driving a Honda Civic and they knew that. Then return home to a discount offer for another vacation! The offer would cause us to pay more than the discounts offered to the public! Vacationer beware! My opinion they do not care about your safety or your satisfaction!

We have rented from American Patriot Getaways multiple times per year since they opened 20 years ago. They just keep getting worse and worse. The cabins are never clean anymore, are old and outdated, with exhausted furniture. We will be finding another company to use. Their customer service has also continued to get worse. The pictures and descriptions on cabins are not accurate.
