Did Trump Ever Say Republicans Are Stupid

What Do Other Republican Politicians Think

Exclusive: New Doc. Footage Shows Trump Saying Stupid People Refused To Support Big Lie

The ones who want to stay in Trumps good graces are welcoming the audit.

We want transparency and answers for the American people, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, who is poised to replace Cheney in the Republican leadership, said last week. What are the Democrats so afraid of?

Given that polls show a majority of Republicans think Democrats stole the election, members of the party who are in favour of the audit are on solid political ground.

Some Republicans, including in Arizona, may be having doubts, however.

It makes us look like idiots, Phoenix-area state senator Paul Boyer told the New York Times. Looking back, I didnt think it would be this ridiculous.

Most Of Trumps Stories Then Were About His Pending Divorce From Marla Maples

While the quote has been debunked several times since it apparently surfaced in 2015, users have recently been resharing it on social media.

Most of Trumps stories were about his pending divorce from Marla Maples and appearances at various social and entertainment events.

A magazine photo claiming that US President Donald Trump referred to Republican voters as dumbest voters is false.

The photo- that has gone viral on social media platforms quotes the Peoples Magazine in 1998, where it is alleged Trump said if he were to dip his toes in politics, he would use the Republican ticket.

If I were to run, Id run as a Republican. Theyre the dumbest group of voters in the country. They believe anything on Fox News. I could lie and theyd still eat it up. I bet my numbers would be terrific, read the message purporting to be a quote from Trump.

Several Twitter users including Azeem ButtValryLeBourg and MuthuiMkenya in reference to the ongoing US election indicated that one does not have to be smart if their followers are stupid.

While the quote has been debunked several times since it apparently surfaced in 2015, users have recently been resharing it on social mediaespecially after a Democratic Candidate Joe Biden was projected as the President-Elect for the United States.

The Stars fact-check desk established that the meme was first debunked by SNOPES in 2015, followed by other independent debunks.

News 1998 People Magazine Quote Attributed To Trump Calling Republicans The Dumbest Voters Is False

Social media users shared a quote attributed to Donald Trump alleging that he said Republicans are the dumbest group of voters in the country.

One of the strategies Donald Trump employed as he began putting his name on the U.S. political map years ago was championing birtherism, the long-held conspiracy theory that President Barack Obama was born outside of the U.S. and hence should never have been elected. He often chastised Obama and demanded the president produce his birth certificate, revving up an anti-Obama base that eventually helped put Trump in the White House.

Evidently, Trump may have been using the so-called birthers only as a means to an end.

His son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who is also a senior adviser to the president, allegedly told a former editor of the newspaper he once owned that the billionaire real-estate mogul didnt believe his own birtherism claims, and only made them to charge up Republicans because they are stupid,GQ reported.

Spiers told her Kushner anecdote in response to a question from a conservative blogger on Facebook, and then screenshotted the response and put it up on Twitter.

Trump Secretly Mocks His Christian Supporters

Did Trump Ask If Americans Would

Former aides say that in private, the president has spoken with cynicism and contempt about believers.

One day in 2015, Donald Trump beckoned Michael Cohen, his longtime confidant and personal attorney, into his office. Trump was brandishing a printout of an article about an Atlanta-based megachurch pastor trying to raise $60 million from his flock to buy a private jet. Trump knew the preacher personallyCreflo Dollar had been among a group of evangelical figures who visited him in 2011 while he was first exploring a presidential bid. During the meeting, Trump had reverently bowed his head in prayer while the pastors laid hands on him. Now he was gleefully reciting the impious details of Dollars quest for a Gulfstream G650.

The presidents alliance with religious conservatives has long been premised on the contention that he takes them seriously, while Democrats hold them in disdain. In speeches and interviews, Trump routinely lavishes praise on conservative Christians, casting himself as their champion. My administration will never stop fighting for Americans of faith, he declared at a rally for evangelicals earlier this year. Its a message his campaign will seek to amplify in the coming weeks as Republicans work to confirm Amy Coney Barretta devout, conservative Catholicto the Supreme Court.

The Birth Of The Stupid Party

Republicans are handing their presidential nomination to a know-nothing billionaire bully, Donald Trump the worst nominee in modern times. How did Republicans get to be so stupid?

Of course, stupid is subjective. But by most standards, Republicans fit the bill. In September, Public Policy Polling found that 66% of Trumps supporters believe that Obama is a Muslim 61% think Obama was not born in the United States. The same poll found that 54 percent of all Republicans believed the President to be a Muslim.

In 2013, Louisiana Republican Governor Bobby Jindal warned the GOP to stop being the stupid party. Jindal said Republican candidates should stop insulting the intelligence of voters with offensive and bizarre statements. However, Jindal didnt listen to his own advice on May 10th, Jindal endorsed Donald Trump. Stupid is as stupid does.

It wasnt always like this. Fifty years ago, Republicans seemed wrongheaded but intelligent. What has happened to the Grand Old Party? Its transition to the stupid party had four stages:

In September, writing in the Daily Beast Ana Marie Cox observed, Trump and Carson are winning a huge slice of the GOP base because of prideful ignorance, which to voters signifies not just a rejection of the establishment or elites but a release from the hard work of having to think.

2. Republicans accepted racism. When the GOP adopted the southern strategy, they tacitly accepted racism. With Trump this racism has come out in the open.

Bu Today: Some Observers Argue That Local Republican Officials And Republican Judges Thwarted Trumps Attempt To Overturn The 2020 Election So We Arent Headed For Autocracy Any Validity To That Argument

Jonathan Zatlin:If you look at the interwar period, theres no question that the civil serviceespecially in Germany, where democracy was linked to economic crises and the defeat of the Warwas opposed to democracy. And thats simply not the case in the United States. I dont think that has anything to do with Republicans, actually I think its that weve all been taught that democracy is a really important value. That said, the last president did tryand it seems Republican parties locally as well as on the state level are tryingto put public officials into office who dont have democracy as a value, who believe violence is a legitimate part of public discourse, which it obviously isnt. Its a form of politics that is deeply disturbing, because it means the Republican Party has allied itself with antidemocratic values, violence, and racism.

Donald Trump Mocked After Accidentally Admitting Only Stupid And Corrupt People Believe In Massive 2020 Election Fraud

Former president Donald Trump became the subject of mockery for a statement issued late Saturday that accidentally questioned the validity of his repeated false claims about massive Election Fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election.

Anybody that doesnt think there wasnt massive Election Fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election is either very stupid, or very corrupt! Trump said in a .

Of course, that double negative delivers a message thats opposite to what the former president no doubt intended which critics seized on.

When youre right, youre right, longtime anti-Trump Republican George Conway tweeted. Seriously, I usually dont find it unsurprising when he says something thats not inaccurate, but no onenot even the former guycan be not correct all the time.

Obstruction Now A Major Focus In Trump Documents Probe

Trump: Putin Is Smart, Our Leaders Are Dumb

The FBI investigation into top-secret government information discovered at Mar-a-Lago is zeroing in on the question of whether former President Donald Trump’s team criminally obstructed the probe. A new document alleges that government records had been concealed and removed and that law enforcement officials were misled about what was still there.

The allegation does not necessarily mean that Trump or anyone else will ultimately face charges. But it could pose the most direct legal threat to Trump and those in his orbit, in part because the Justice Department has historically regarded obstruction as an aggravating factor that tilts in favor of bringing criminal charges involving the mishandling of classified information.

It goes to the heart of trying to suborn the very integrity of our criminal justice system, said David Laufman, who once oversaw the same Justice Department counterintelligence section now responsible for the Mar-a-Lago investigation.

The latest Justice Department motion in the case is focused less on the removal last year of classified information from the White House to Mar-a-Lago and more on the events of this past spring and summer. That’s when law enforcement officials tried unsuccessfully to get all documents back and were assured, falsely, that everything had been accounted for after a diligent search.

But the FBI came to doubt the truth of those statements and obtained a search warrant to return on Aug. 8.

Donald Trump Thinks Americans Are Stupid And You Know What He Might Be Right

I have a theory about Donald Trump.

Here’s a guy with an Ivy League degree who allegedly graduated tops in his class from the University of Pennsylvania. A guy who has amassed a fortune of more than $4 billion making smart and savvy business deals. A guy who has risen to the top of almost every industry he’s tackled, whether it’s sports, entertainment, media, or real estate.

In short, Donald Trump is a very, very intelligent man. His business record, academic achievements, and personal accomplishments indicate that.

And yet, Donald Trump the presidential candidate has a tendency of making very, very stupid statements. Statements that make the pundits wonder if he’s read the Constitution. Statements that make his closest friends question his integrity. Statements that make many of us — even his GOP supporters — wonder if Donald Trump graduated tops in his class from any school, let alone an Ivy League one.

This all makes me wonder: Is Donald Trump really as stupid as he sometimes sounds, or is he merely pretending to be stupid, because he believes the American people will be stupid enough to fall for it?

The answer, I believe, is the latter.

It doesn’t get much more elite than that.

Trump doesn’t just believe America is stupid he’s banking on it.

And so far, it’s working.

Wait A Minute Bamboo Fibre

Yes. According to one volunteer, John Brakey, theyre investigating whether fake ballots may have been snuck in from overseas.

They use bamboo in their paper processing, people in southeast Asia, he told a local CBS television station.

Brakey is quick to say he doubts such fraud is real, but the investigators apparently want to leave no stone unturned, untested and unsubjected to ultraviolet light.

As mail-in Arizona ballots are matched against registered voters, multiple votes cast by the same individual would have been flagged.

You know weve reached a low point as a country when even the loyal-to-a-deadly-and-illogical-fault supporters of former President Donald Trump boo him when he recommends vaccinations against COVID-19. I believe totally in your freedoms, I do, you gotta do what you gotta do, but I recommend take the vaccines, the former president said at a rally on Saturday in Cullman, Alabama. I did it. Its good. The crowd responded with boos.

Top 10 Actual Things Donald Trump Said At His 2016 Presidential Campaign Announcement

? On Tuesday, real estate mogul-turned reality show star, Donald Trump, became the latest Republican to jump into the 2016 presidential race.

If hes elected in 2016, the GOP hopeful predicated that he would be the most successful president for U.S. jobs that God ever created, used the recent sale of a multi-million dollar apartment he owned to someone from China as an example of his friendly ties with the country, voiced concern that people from the Middle East are probably sneaking into the country through the border, and revealed that rich Islamic terrorists are his competition within the hotel market in Syria.

This is all real, and its trademark Trump. Here are the quotes from Trumps presidential announcement that you will never hear another presidential candidate say ever.

Nevertheless The Quote Has Been Roundly Debunked

Not only is there no evidence of a political profile or interview with Donald Trump in People’s online archives, or any evidence of these words whatsoever.

Furthermore, that reference to Fox News, while chronologically possible, seems out of place given that the network wasn’t as popular until the 2000 election of George W Bush, and then the 9/11 attacks.

However, Trump did appear on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1988 and ended up discussing the possibility of a run for president.

And this foreboding fortuneteller of a quote is verified:

I think I’d win. I’ll tell you what: I wouldn’t go in to lose.

Donald Trump: I Love The Poorly Educated

Donald Trump easily won the Nevada Republican caucuses on Tuesday, finishing more than 20 points ahead of Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and cementing his status as the frontrunner for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination.

In his victory speech, the billionaire real estate mogul thanked his family, his friends and his wide swath of supporters.

We won the evangelicals, Trump said. We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated.

That last line was, as you might expect, the sound bite of the night. Indeed, I love the poorly educated was trending on Twitter early Wednesday morning, with users expressing a mix of bewilderment, consternation and other big words such supporters might not understand.

I Just Want 11780 Votes: Trump Pressed Georgia To Overturn Biden Victory

  • Trump asked secretary of state to recalculate vote in phone call

The Washington Post obtained a tape of the extraordinary conversation, which Trump acknowledged on Twitter.

Amid widespread outrage including calls for a second impeachment, Bob Bauer, a senior Biden adviser, said: We now have irrefutable proof of a president pressuring and threatening an official of his own party to get him to rescind a states lawful, certified vote count and fabricate another in its place.

The Post published the full call.

The people of Georgia are angry, the people in the country are angry, Trump said. And theres nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that youve recalculated.

Raffensperger is a Republican who has become a bête noire among Trump supporters for repeatedly saying Bidens win in his state was fair. In one of a number of parries, he said: Well, Mr President, the challenge that you have is, the data you have is wrong.

Trump said: So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state.

He insisted: Theres no way I lost Georgia. Theres no way. We won by hundreds of thousands of votes.
