How Will Democrats Vote Republican Sen Steve Daines Introduces Resolution Condemning Socialism

Steve Daines SLAMS Chuck Schumer for lies about new state voting laws

During his 2019 State of the Union address, President Trump proclaimed, Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will NEVER be a socialist country. While this did not make Democrat presidential candidate and avowed socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders happy, its a statement well in-line with the majority of American voters.

The current Democrat clown car of presidential candidates, however, support a range of policy and agenda items that carry the distinct stench of socialism. The AOC plus three Squad is also working overtime to pull the party to the socialist left.

The result has been an unofficial embrace of socialism by Democrat primary voters, so much so that they loudly booed Democrat presidential candidate and former Colorado governor John Hickenlooper for denouncing socialism in the first Democrat presidential debate.

The trend is raising alarms among Republican politicians and normal Americans who do not see socialism as compatible with American values or with our Constitution. Among those concerned is Sen. Steve Daines who introduced a resolution condemning socialism.

The Hill reports:

In his remarks on the Senate floor, Daines quoted Milton Freedman.

Daines took to Twitter to share his strong stance against the scourge of socialism in America.

America will never be a socialist nation.

Sen. Steve Daines won his reelection bid, holding off a challenge from Democratic Gov. Steve Bullock in a state Democrats targeted as they expanded the Senate map in 2020.

Montana was not initially a top target state in the fight for control of the Senate this year. But after Bullock decided to run for the seat after eight years as governor and a failed 2020 presidential campaign, he virtually cleared the Democratic primary field, and the race ended up attracting more than $100 million in spending, underscoring its competitiveness despite Montanas Republican lean at the presidential level.

Weve never seen a political race of this size in Montana and Im grateful that the good common sense, the good horse sense of Montana didnt listen to all of that out-of-state money from Chuck Schumer coming into Montana, Daines said in .

Bullock won three statewide elections in Montana prior to this year, all while the state voted for Republicans for president. He was seen as a rare Democrat possibly the only one in 2020 capable of separating Daines reelection race enough from the presidential race to put the seat at risk of flipping.

Senate Leadership Fund, the Republican super PAC, took the unusual step of launching ads against Bullock while he was still running for president, just in case he ended up switching into the Senate race later.

In 1966, Johnson altered and enlarged the university’s administrative structure to help cope with increasing enrollment and increasing campus complexity. These changes included creating a 12-member executive council to advise him. Republican Steve Daines of Montana has won a second Senate term, dealing a blow to Democrats hopes of gaining a majority in the chamber.

The former business executive and Donald Trump loyalist defeated Gov. Steve Bullock.

Daines first election in 2014 broke a Democratic lock on the Senate seat that had lasted more than 100 years. After Trump carried Montana by more than 20 percentage points in 2016, Daines emerged as one of the presidents ardent defenders.

Bullock is a two-term Montana governor who entered the race in March after dropping a presidential bid that attracted little support.

Popular Gov Steve Bullock Is Running In A Very Tight Race Against Sen Steve Daines

This is the 10th in our Majority Makers series, a race-by-race look at the contests that will decide control of the Senate in 2021. See our previous dives on Maine, Texas, Arizona, South Carolina, Colorado, North Carolina, Kansas, Michigan and Iowa.

Gov. Steve Bullock has been a popular figure in Montana, scoring a second term as a Democrat in 2016 even as President Donald Trump won the state by 20 percentage points, and beginning this year as one of the most well-liked Democratic governors in the country.

But while most Montanans think hes done a good job in Helena, public polls since he launched his 2020 bid for Senate reveal an electorate thats almost evenly divided about whether he should replace Republican Sen. Steve Daines in Washington. To many strategists and pollsters involved in the race, the numbers suggest a contest largely unmoved by their campaigns persuasion efforts one that will instead be won on the margins in a state where Trump is expected to triumph again this year as he faces off against Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Its going to be tight, said Sandi Luckey, executive director of the Montana Democratic Party. Every single ballot is going to matter. Its going to be right down to the wire.

There’s evidence out there that older voters aren’t necessarily excited about Sen. Daines, and younger voters support Bullock. All those factors suggest that if all the stars come into alignment, Democrats could win.
