During the rally, he thanked Iowans for their support in the 2016 and 2020 elections, and criticized many domestic and foreign policies of the Biden Administration. Mr. Trump also endorsed Senator Chuck Grassley , who had recently announced he would run for an eighth term in 2022. close

How About A Candidate For Governor

As for Michigan’s marquee race this election cycle the race for governor Trump has yet to endorse a candidate for the Republican nomination to take on Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer this fall.

Politically speaking, that makes some sense, given that no front-runner has emerged. But it’s still entirely possible the former president could make a decision sometime, possibly soon. And whatever his delay, it’s not for lack of suitors.

At least seven of the candidates seeking the Republican nomination were expected to attend Saturdays rally. That includes former Detroit Police Chief James Craig, Oakland County businessman Perry Johnson, Norton Shores businesswoman Tudor Dixon, Ottawa County real estate agent Ryan Kelley, Oakland County pastor Ralph Rebandt, Livingston County evangelist Bob Scott, and Grand Rapids businesswoman Donna Brandenburg.

As for the others, Kalamazoo chiropractor Garrett Soldano is on a spring break vacation with his two young sons and is unable to attend, and Michigan State Police Capt. Mike Brown, of Stevensville, cited a prior campaign commitment. Grand Haven financial adviser Michael Markey said he also would be on a previously scheduled family vacation Saturday.

Also, as of Friday, Oakland County businessman and former auto dealer Kevin Rinke said he hadn’t made a decision as to whether to attend, a spokeswoman said.

Fox 35 reported from the location where the rally was going to take place and shared that he might be having a virtual rally instead. However, Fox 35 later reported online that the virtual rally is not happening.

The original report is still uploaded on the News Now from Fox channel on YouTube.

We have learned now that the remarks, the event is still on but it will be a virtual rally, the reporter from Fox 35 announced. And the President will make remarks tonight at 7:00, presumably from the White House as he continues to battle COVID-19. So folks are getting those emails to sign up for that virtual event that is still set to take place tonight at 7:00.

You can watch the announcement in the video below.

However, Fox 35 reported on its website, after the above video was made, that Trump would not be having a virtual rally. The update, posted here around 3:35 p.m. Eastern, reads:

FOX 35 News reported President Donald Trump would be holding a virtual campaign rally on Friday evening in lieu of a physical appearance in Sanford, Florida as he had originally planned. Biggest Crowd Ive Ever Seen

Trump spoke of the large number of his supporters who gathered in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021, after he spent weeks pushing baseless claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

You know the biggest crowd Ive ever seen? Trump told supporters at the rally. January 6th. And you never hear that. They were there largely to protest a corrupt and rigged and stolen election.

After listening to Trump speak, many Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol in a bid to disrupt Congress certification of Bidens victory.

Trump was impeached for a historic second time for his role in the incident but was acquitted by the Senate.

Pm: Trump Says World War Iii Could Happen Soon

The planet could be on the verge of World War III, former President Donald Trump said Sunday, blaming the Biden administration for failing to avert the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the spiraling tensions over it.

With characteristic self-congratulation, Trump praised himself for being correct about everything but said he hopes he is wrong that another global war could be on the horizon.

We must demand immediate negotiation of a peaceful end to the war in Ukraine or we will end up in World War III, and there will never be a war like this. We will never have had a war like this, and thats all because of stupid people that dont have a clue. And its also because of the kind of weaponry thats available today.

Trump castigated Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., as a reliable vote for ill-considered legislation pushed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.

More than 45 minutes into his remarks, Trump returned repeatedly to claims of a stolen election in 2020. He called 2020 a rigged and stolen election.

I ran twice. I won twice, Trump said.

Trump is scheduled to speak at 7:00 p.m. at Aero Center Wilmington.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Former President Donald Trump will be in North Carolina to rally the Republican base on Friday, September 23, 2022.

Trump is set to visit Wilmington for a Save America event. He will also be campaigning for Republican Senate candidate Ted Budd who is running against Democratic Senate candidate Cheri Beasley.

Sharonne Hayes previewed the event during WBTV News at Noon what supporters could expect this evening if theyre headed to Wilmington.

Trump is scheduled to speak at 7:00 p.m. at Aero Center Wilmington at Wilmington International Airport. Event organizers say they are expecting 10,000 people in attendance.

This is the first appearance by the former President since the New York Attorney General filed a civil suit against him and three of his children. The suit accuses The Trump Organization of fraudulent business practices.

Its actually not the former Presidents first visit to Wilmington, with his visit to the area in 2020.

Trump is hoping to build support around Republican candidates ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. The Save America event will feature several GOP guest speakers.

The Democratic party of North Carolina recently unveiled a billboard highlighting what they call Trumps attacks on democracy. That billboard is located by the entrance of the Wilmington airport and includes quotes from Budd calling the nothing and just patriots standing up.

How To Watch Donald Trumps Nevada Rally With Lombardo And Laxalt

Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to appear at a Save America rally Saturday night in Nevada to back his endorsed candidates Adam Laxalt and Joe Lombardo as both Republicans gear up for the midterm elections that are one month away.

The rally is set to take place in Minden, Nevada, at 7 p.m. PDT at Minden-Tahoe Airport. The former president is expected to show his support for Clark County Sheriff Lombardo, the GOP candidate who is running for Nevada governor against incumbent Democratic Governor Steve Sisolak.

Trumps busy weekend also includes another rally in Mesa, Arizona, on Sunday to show support for the GOP gubernatorial candidate for Arizona, Kari Lake, Senatehopeful Blake Masters, and Republican candidate for secretary of state, Representative Mark Finchem.

The rallies come amid an ongoing investigation by the Department of Justice into Trumps alleged mishandling of classified documents which the FBI retrieved from his Mar-a-Lago residence in August. Trump has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing in regard to the documents, and said that any classified documents that he took from the White House when he left last year had been declassified.

Pm: Finchem Promises Changes To Voting If Elected Secretary Of State

State Rep. Mark Finchems walk-on music at the Mesa rally was the theme from “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.” To further his Western bona fides, and to take a swipe at East Coast commentators who mock his western vibe, Finchem wore his cowboy hat and sported his Sunday Go-To Meeting Tie.

He launched into his familiar attack on his Democratic opponent for secretary of state, Adrian Fontes, from Fontes missteps during the 2020 Democratic presidential preference election to his support of all-mail voting to policy changes that were slapped down by court rulings.

Just follow the law is his campaign mantra, and he said he will stick to the rules.

As secretary of state, Finchem said he will push for post-election audits in all 15 counties and disconnect Arizona from ERIC, the Electronic Registration Information Center, which shares voter information among states to ensure there is not double voting.

Former President Donald Trump on Saturday rallied for J.D. Vance in the key battleground state of Ohio, seeking to shore up his standing among Republicans with primary season over and a slew of candidates tacking to the middle ahead of the November midterms.

After hailing Vance as an incredible patriot who will take the fight to Biden and the radical left media every day, the former president quickly went on the offensive over reporting Saturday that Republican Senate candidates were trying to keep the former president at arms length.

Vance is kissing my ass, Trump said, before touting his own support in the state he won by 8 points over Joe Biden in 2020. Trump also rallied for Vance in Ohios Delaware County in April.

Vance faces Democratic Rep. Tim Ryan to fill the seat vacated by retiring Republican Sen. Rob Portman. A USA TODAY Network Ohio/Suffolk University poll released Monday showed Vance and Ryan virtually tied.

I hope youre going to do something about it, J.D., Trump repeatedly said throughout the rally.

Is Trump’s Coming To Michigan Controversial

Donald Trumps Chefstratege will Handel mit EU grundlegend verändern

It is. And here’s why: Trump’s endorsement of DePerno and Karamo comes ahead of an April 23 endorsement convention where the state Republican Party delegates will begin formally nominating candidates for down-ballot races, including attorney general and secretary of state. The nominees for other races, like governor or congressional seats, will be selected by the voters themselves during the Aug. 2 primary. And it’s not only Trump who has made endorsements, but also state party co-chair Meshawn Maddock, a staunch Trump supporter who is expected to be at the rally.

Taken together, that has quite a few Republicans either privately or publicly upset. Party leaders and officials typically don’t make endorsements ahead of primaries or the party’s selection, not wanting to make it seem as though they are trying to dictate an outcome. In the case of DePerno and Karamo, some Republicans are making the case that their pro-Trump stances are extreme to a point where more mainstream voters will reject them. That could keep the party from winning in what is otherwise expected to be a favorable year.

Donald Trump Is Holding A Rally Tonight In Michigan

Former President Donald Trump is expected to speak before 8,000 to 10,000 Michiganders tonight, as he throws his support behind two of the state’s top GOP contenders.

The former president is scheduled to headline the Save America rally Saturday night, which his team has described as a ‘continuation of President Trump’s unprecedented effort to advance the MAGA agenda by energizing voters and highlighting America First candidates and causes.’

The goal, according to the Detroit Free Press, is to raise the profiles of Matthew DePerno, a lawyer running for state attorney general, and Kristina Karamo, who is running for secretary of state – the state’s chief elections officer.

Both candidates have supported Trump’s claims that the 2020 presidential election was ‘rigged’ against him – a claim Trump is likely to repeat on Saturday night.

He is also likely to hint at another presidential campaign and rail against what he perceives to be a ‘witch hunt’ orchestrated by Congress and the courts against him.

Trump’s speech comes ahead of an April 23 endorsement convention, where the state Republican Party delegates will formally begin nominating candidates for down-ballot races – including attorney general and secretary of state.

Tickets to the speech were free and first-come first serve. The town estimates there will be between 8,000 to 10,000 Michiganders in attendance at the Michigan Stars Sports Center.

Pm: Republicans Rally With Katie Hobbs In Paradise Valley

Democratic candidate for governor Katie Hobbs held a brief news conference Sunday morning at Barry Goldwater Memorial Park in Paradise Valley to emphasize that Republicans should support her over rival Kari Lake.

Several members of Hobbs Republicans for Katie Hobbs Coalition gathered with her at the park, which celebrates the states conservative icon who died in 1998 following five terms as a U.S. senator.

Karie Dozer, a former spokesman for the late state Attorney General Grant Woods, said Goldwater would be shaking his head in disgust at how crazy Republican politics have become.

Kari Lake is dangerous for Arizona, said Mesa Mayor John Giles, and thats why he a Republican was at the park with Hobbs and not at Trumps rally in Mesa on Sunday.

Those of us who support Secretary Hobbs care very deeply about the future of Arizona, he said. And thats why we are putting our state above our party.

Monica Villalobos, president and CEO of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, describing herself as a former Republican, emphasized that the nation has moved forward under Biden.

She didnt leave the party, she said it left her when it began running candidates operating from places of hatred, hubris and hostility rather than honesty, humility and humanity.

Lakes entire platform boils down into being a sore loser, she said.

Other Republicans at the event included former Scottsdale Mayor Sam Campana and former state legislator Steve May.
