Democrats Or Republicans: Who Has The Higher Income

JUST IN: Senate Republican Leaders Accuse Democrats Of ‘Widespread Democratic Big Lie’

In the end, many people assume Republicans are richer based on these figures. Although, this is only a look at the richest families and politicians in America though. In everyday American households, it seems that Democrats have a higher mean salary. Its true that many of the wealthiest families in the country are contributing to Republican campaigns. On the contrary, families registered as , statistically speaking.

These findings still have some loopholes in them, of course. For instance, the data was collected over the last 40 years or so. Moreover, it is only based on the most recently collected information. As you know, demographics are constantly changing. These figures may have been affected as well. There is also a margin of error with every type of data collection like this. So, what do you think? Who is richer? Democrats or Republicans?

Earth One Do You Hear Me

On Earth Two, announces MSNBCs Rachel Maddow, true believers are waiting on the plaza in Dallas where John F. Kennedy was assassinated, confident that he will be resurrected to usher in President Trumps continuing presidency. Earth Two accepts any means including unethical, anti-democratic, and criminal ones to consolidate political power within the Republican Party, two-thirds of whom accept the Big Lie that Trump is still President. As a result, American democracy is teetering on extinction.

That is why the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance has identified the United States as a backsliding democracy, with the Big Lie as the precipitating factor: a historic turning point came in 2020-21 after former President Donald Trump refused to accept his election loss to now-President Joe Biden.

Nevertheless, there are plenty of us still alive and kicking here on Earth One, where we are resisting, organizing, and protesting with all of our might and main. While Planet Two folks inhabit a world based on conspiratorial fantasies we take facts as real and organize our lives around what is true.

Let us hope that the truth will deliver us.

Alaska election officials carried out the instant-runoff process Wednesday for the August 16 special election for the states only House seat, and former Democratic state Rep. Mary Peltola has scored a dramatic pickup for her party by defeating Republican Sarah Palin 51-49 percent.

Peltola, who will replace the late GOP Rep. Don Young, will be the first Democrat to represent the Last Frontier in the lower chamber since Young won his own special election all the way back in 1973. The new congresswoman, who is of Yupik ancestry, is also set to become the first Alaska Native to ever serve in Congress.

While Palin had Donald Trumps backing for her comeback campaign, the 2008 vice presidential nominee showed little interest in reintroducing herself to her old constituents. Palin made only a few public appearances in the Last Frontier, while she used the weeks before Election Day to hold a Minneapolis fundraiser with far-right pillow salesman Mike Lindell and speak at CPAC’s confab in Dallas.

It Is Astonishing That Blacks Vote For Democrats At All

For the 100 years prior to Lincoln the democrats were historically the party that supported slavery in the south. In 1860 when Lincoln was elected the democrats elected a person who debated Lincoln and argued why the idea of freeing the slaves was stupid.

Lincoln won even though most of the nation knew that we were on the verge of the most horrible conflict in history. Lincoln wanted to avoid this war but the democrats wouldnt concede even the smallest point.

Lincoln drew a line in the sand. He wouldnt go to war and kill 6 million Americans to free the slaves as long as the democrat states would agree to not let slavery spread to any new states.

The democrats wouldnt accept that. Like todays democrats they were absolutely convinced and not very negotiating. They wanted their slavery and they believed in it.

They felt slavery would be imperiled if it wasnt allowed to grow. They wanted more slave owners to get more slave promoting voters like illegal immigrants today.

Lincoln went to war and adjusted for population 6 million Americans died. Even if you dont adjust for population the number who died in the war is more than the sum of all American deaths in all wars since.

The devastation was horrendous. One of the generals in the north practiced a burn it to the ground policy that denuded whole cities. The south was crushed.

The Lies The Gop Told Me About Democrats

Trump

I have been a Democrat for nearly one year. A GOP friend of mine asked me about the differences between the parties. He is thinking of leaving the GOP as well. Many have followed me out and read my column loyally knowing I will let them know if the Democrats are as bad as the Republicans have told us.

A political party should attract and maintain members based on the inherent good of the partys ideals. The Republican Party has derailed regarding goodness these days. I am ashamed to say it, but I had a hand in the derailing of the party in the late 1970s through the 2012 Presidential Election. I helped perpetuate the myths, a polite way of saying spread the lies, the GOP had to tell to keep the rank-and-file in line.

I spent forty-two years as a member of the Grand Old Party, and thirty-eight years in that period as a propagandist and party sycophant. I made a good living serving my Washington, DC, masters. When one pretends they are working for the greater good, it makes serving ones self at the expense of society as a whole easier to swallow, if one has even a sliver of a conscience.

I witnessed men and women who had sworn to protect and defend The Consitution of the United States sit and hatch plans to strip Muslims of their rights under the law, and call it patriotic.

What are the stories the Republicans tell that are not true about the Democrats?

Of course, if two sides will not compromise, then we get the mess we have today.

Don’t Miss: How Do I Contact President Trump

Lies And The Lying Liars Who Get Away

More recently, and more pertinent to this election: Hillary Clinton has lied about her e-mail scandal on a breadth unprecedented even within the Democratic Party. In many ways her lies about her e-mail server are more troubling and more consequential than Trumps scattershot dishonesty. You get the sense that Trump lies about things because hes not too bright and cant think very quickly. Clinton, on the other hand, lies about her e-mail server because she has most likely compromised American national security, endangered American lives, and wants to avoid going to jail.

She claimed to have turned over all of her work-related e-mails. That was a lie. She claimed she hadnt transmitted any classified information. That was a lie. She claimed she hadnt transmitted any information classified. That was a lie. She claimed that she had never been subpoenaed in regards to her e-mail. That, too, was a lie. She claimed the FBI had considered her account truthful. Another lie.

Oh, also: President Obama originally denied having any knowledge about Clintons private e-mail server. That was a big-time lie. Clintons e-mail scandal has been one gigantic lie from start to finish.

These are just a few examples of liberal dishonesty plenty more could easily be produced. While it is true that newspapers and other media outlets have fact-checked many of these lies, it is impossible to argue that the responses from the media have been the same.

Exponential Lying Mendacity By Algorithm

Presidents Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, and George W. Bush used print media, talk radio, and TV news to lie about the Gulf of Tonkin, the Watergate Break In, and Iraqs Weapons of Mass Destruction. Trump manipulates the much vaster reach and more compelling psychology of Social Media to spread vast swathes of misinformation to huge, susceptible audiences.

Social Media uses computer-generated mathematical algorithms to profit from selling advertisements. In computer science, an algorithm is a formula containing directions to perform a specific task. You can gather data on who responds to what kind of message, make it into an especially attention-grabbing piece of clickbait, then spread it far and wide to people you have algorithmically designated as prone to that particular kind of message.

In Down the Rabbit Hole: How Social Media Spreads misinformation, Eric Reed explains how this works:

Two main algorithms govern the flow of information on social media platforms. The first is the connections algorithm, known on Facebook as people you may know. This defines who connects to whom, and therefore who will see each others posts. The second is the feed algorithm. This selects what users see and in what order. Together these two algorithms define what a given user sees on the network.

Thus Social Media constructs computer algorithms from what you like and nudges you onto similar sites the more you click, the more advertisers Social Media can drive to you:

Are Republicans More Ethical Than Democrats

It is easy to be cynical about the corrosive effects of power. No party has a monopoly on corruption and misuse of public office. Yet cynicism is not the same as wisdom. Such every day cynicism helps Democrats escape from the uncomfortable moral challenges posed to big government advocates by the slew of scandals erupting in Washington.

What we are seeing involves systemic flouting of the law by Democrats, from elected and appointed officials to unionized bureaucrats, who have targeted ordinary citizens because they are political opponents, riding rough shod over our rights to free speech, assembly, freedom of the press and equal application of the law.

There has not been abuse of power on this scale in this baby boomers lifetime. This is beyond the ordinary, and ordinary cynicism will not suffice. The debate over whether our President is guilty of active abuse, leadership by example, or incompetence is important. But it is not the most important thing going on. The problem is far larger than the Oval office, and will extend past this presidency unless there is significant government reform.

New York Times journalist Thomas Friedman daydreams of what he and fellow liberals could accomplish ruling America with all the powers of the Chinese Communist Party. Republican politicians, no matter how power hungry and narcissistic, know that is a nightmare. Their followers know that is a nightmare. Democrats do not.

Big Lies: How They Work

Democrats Become Last Line Of Defense Against Big Lie Republicans

In The Shape of Big Lies, computer scientist and decision intelligence innovator Nadine Malcolm provides two historical examples: Salem Witch mania arising from the Putnam/ Porter family feud that led to 25 deaths, and Hitlers promulgation of anti-Semitism to consolidate his power, that led to the death of 6 million Jews.

In the Salem case, an ongoing dispute between two Massachusetts families was resolved when the Putnams convinced the whole town that the Porters were witches who corrupted young girls. They lied that their rivals were engaged in witchcraft in order to gain power in the community. In this chart, the green megaphone designates what they told the public, and the red megaphone shows their actual policy:

Malcolm cites Adolph Hitlers definition of a Big Lie from Mein Kampf:

in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility because the broad masses more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously.

In Malcolms definition, a Big Lie has two components: a bloody, often lethal, below-the-surface agenda driven by selfish power, greed, and revenge, not acknowledged nor spoken and A complex situation, where theres a fog of disinformation.

Biggest Influencers: Democrats Or Republicans

To understand who influences politics, you can easily find out who the wealthy support. For example, the Walton family, the owners of the retail giant Walmart, has traditionally donated to Republican candidates. Alice Walton, the daughter of Walmarts founder, hasnt strayed from that too much. That is, until the 2008 election. In 2008 and 2016 the Walton family donated to Hilary Clintons campaign.

She isnt the only person from a wealthy family to change tradition where politics are concerned either. Many of the younger individuals in Americas richest families have begun to sway from their familys political associations as well. Below youll find the affiliation and overall net worth of the top 10 richest families in America.

Modeling The Universes Biggest Monsters

A video clip showing the model in action at different scales allowing the viewer to see how gas makes its way towards the accretion disk surrounding the black hole.

Older models that tried to show how supermassive black holes interacted with their galaxies ran into a couple of problems.

Large-scale simulations are very good at handling what is going on across an entire galaxy, but they become problematic at smaller scales. When one tries to look too closely at a black hole using such models, uncertainty abounds. On the other hand, zoom-in simulation models can provide a great idea of what is going on next to a black hole, but they fail to describe what is going on in the rest of the galaxy.

Combining the benefits of the two into a single model is vital, as the interplay between the processes at the larger and smaller scales is key to understanding the co-evolution of supermassive black holes at the center of galaxies and that of the galaxies themselves. The new model aims to bridge the gap between these older models by starting from the Feedback in Realistic Environments project and adding in details from the large-scale simulations to produce a model that can zoom in as far as a tenth of a parsec as well as model other occurrences at a galactic scale.

More Than 1 Million Voters Switch To Gop Raising Alarm For Democrats

WASHINGTON A political shift is beginning to take hold across the U.S. as tens of thousands of suburban swing voters who helped fuel the Democratic Partys gains in recent years are becoming Republicans.

More than 1 million voters across 43 states have switched to the Republican Party over the last year, according to voter registration data analyzed by The Associated Press. The previously unreported number reflects a phenomenon that is playing out in virtually every region of the country Democratic and Republican states along with cities and small towns in the period since President Joe Biden replaced former President Donald Trump.

But nowhere is the shift more pronounced and dangerous for Democrats than in the suburbs, where well-educated swing voters who turned against Trumps Republican Party in recent years appear to be swinging back. Over the last year, far more people are switching to the GOP across suburban counties from Denver to Atlanta and Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Republicans also gained ground in counties around medium-size cities such as Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Raleigh, North Carolina Augusta, Georgia and Des Moines, Iowa.

Its more so a rejection of the left than embracing the right, said Smith, a 37-year-old professional counselor whose transition away from the Democratic Party began five or six years ago when he registered as a libertarian.

Are Americans Finally Ready For A Third Party

Opinion

Are Americans finally ready for a third-party? Andrew Yang, a former candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, and Christine Todd Whitman, a former Republican governor of New Jersey, certainly think so. They have just founded the Forward Party with the avowed aspiration of promoting more moderate politics and candidates.

They have some evidence to back their hopes. In a just-released survey, the Pew Research Center found that the share of voters with an unfavorable view of both political parties has risen from 6% in 1994 to 27% today. When asked to respond to the statement that I usually feel that there is at least one candidate who shares most of my views, 43% disagree, up from 36% in 2018. Thirty-eight percent strongly agree that I wish there were more political parties to choose from in this country, a figure that includes 48% of Independents and 38% of Democrats but just 21% of Republicans.

This final finding is one of several replicated across all the surveys in this article. Democrats and Independents are much more dissatisfied with the current party system than are Republicans, and young adults are far less satisfied than are older Americans. In addition, some surveys suggest that there is more openness to a new party among college-educated than non-college votersand that Hispanics may be less tethered to the current party system than are either whites or African Americans.
