Gallup determined 16 states to be competitive, i.e., they leaned toward neither party. Wyoming, Idaho and Utah were the most Republican states, while states that leaned the most Democratic were Vermont, Hawaii and Rhode Island.

Only one in four Republican voters felt that most or almost all Democratic voters sincerely believed they were voting in the best interests of the country. We asked every Republican in the sample to do their best to imagine that they were a Democrat and sincerely believed that the Democratic Party was best for the country. We asked them to explain their support for the Democratic Party as an actual Democratic voter might. For example, a 64-year-old strong Republican man from Illinois surmised that Democrats want to help the poor, save Social Security, and tax the rich.
But most had trouble looking at the world through Democratic eyes. Typical was a a 59-year-old Floridian who wrote I dont want to work and I want cradle to grave assistance. In other words, Mommy! Indeed, roughly one in six Republican voters answered in the persona of a Democratic voter who is motivated free college, free health care, free welfare, and so on. PHILADELPHIA — It’s hard to say you don’t have a clear choice this presidential election year.
The Democratic and Republican platforms show views of world 180 degrees apart.
The Democrats’ statement of principles encompassed many of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ views, giving him a victory even as he lost the presidential nomination to former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. The Republican platform shifted to the right of its nominee, businessman Donald Trump, amid concern that he wasn’t conservative enough.
At 55 pages, the Democratic document is 11 pages shorter than the GOP platform and mentioned Trump 29 times compared with just one of Clinton in the Republican document.

This partys representatives may be placed anywhere along the line, depending on how their political views fit within their partys general policy. For example, encouraging a freer marketplace for healthcare, driven by consumer choice to drive down costs. Or privately held retirement accounts like 401 plans instead of government-guaranteed Social Security.

What Does The Republican Party Believe In
Republicans whole heartedly believes, and lives by example, in low taxes for all, not just the rich or poor specifically. They believe in lower taxes on businesses which in turn creates jobs. They believe in a a free market. They believe in immigration, but controlled, as they believe in conservative spending, so should immigration be. America cannot be a free for all, or it ultimately collapses under its own weight. They always increase military spending so we may be free and safe. Republicans put the military above all other discretionary programs. While Democrats support social programs, Republicans will spend large sums of money on the military in an effort to defend the American borders and its sovereignty.
President Trump gave the military their highest pay raises in decades. He also increased defense spending by billions. Biden vowed to cut military spending, as did OBAMA. Republican Party believes in responsible gun right ownership to protect yourself. They do believe in restrictions on abortion as many Republicans are of the Christian faith. They believe in deregulations that strangle businesses and cuts jobs. Republicans shout small government from the roof tops. Americans should be free and not taxed to death. Thus, the TEA party. .
Who Is A Libertarian
Libertarian a follower of the Libertarianism political philosophy is someone who believes people are free to involve in any activity as long as they dont create violence or harm others. This philosophy is bounded by the Non-Aggression Principle which means none may use violence, coercion or any use of force for any other apart from using it as a self-defense mechanism.
As defined by Merriam Webster, Libertarian is an advocate of the doctrine of free will or a person who upholds the principles of individual liberty especially of thought and action. Similarly, the Cambridge dictionary explains a Libertarian as a person who believes that people should be free to think and behave as they want and should not have limits put on them by governments.

Their motto is Live and lets Live. which is suggestive of the fact that people are free to do any form of activity ranging from eating, smoking, taking drugs, having varied sexual preferences in life with anyone they like as long as they dont harm anyone. They simply dont believe either in the existence of a government or in the process of electing.
Thus, a Libertarian never believes in any form of a government, unlike a Republican. They believe people themselves can use their own sense of self-reliability and self-defense thus an exterior government or a form of the ruling is not necessary for the humans.
