A Perfect Place To Stay The Night Before A Cruise Out Of Port Charleston
While searching for lodging the night before our voyage to Bermuda, we found Patriots Point Best Western to be the best choice. The accommodations are first class and a satisfying breakfast is available to send the cruiser well fed and strengthened to face the rigors of boarding the vessel. Not only are the staff most hospitable, but Patriots Point allows a cruiser to leave his vehicle in their parking lot free of charge for the duration of voyage.
The Best In Charleston
Very clean. I loved this hotel. It has been recently remodeled. It’s a wonderful place to stay. It is convenient to the beach and to downtown Charleston. You won’t find a nicer hotel in the area. Parking is free and not crowded.

Not The Nicest But Friendly
The building itself seemed to need some repair and cleaning. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was really good. The lady preparing everything was so nice and nothing was ever not in stock. When arriving the lady at the front desk gave us coupons and a map of downtown Charleston and a list of eating places. Also, if you forget toothpaste, soap, etc. they have it for you at no extra charge.

Excellent Choice To Stay
this was a nice hotel, very helpful staff. Pool was clean and practically empty on the days we used it! Breakfast was a good selection for continental breakfast, including hot waffles or pancakes, scrambled eggs, gravy, yogurt, cereal, fruit, etc.

Great Place To Stay At Mount Pleasant
We have stayed here 4 times in the last couple of summers. Always very clean, front desk super friendly. Room always very clean and fresh. Free breakfast is always up to par. Don’t deal with the gig prices and traffic in Charleston, stay across the river and Uber to Charleston and relax.

Clean And Friendly Staff
This was our second stay at this location. It was clean and the staff very welcoming and helpful. Typical continental breakfast items. The Wi-Fi in the room was not great on our smart phones. It was a quick drive over to Charleston and close to many great restaurants and the beach. I would return.

Don’t Know Why There’s Not More Stars For This Guy
We stayed specifically to tour the Yorktown. Very close, with easy access, and restaurants too. Can’t say enogh about The Chareslton Fish House, but that’s another review. Best Western is a very good choice if you like reasonable prices for a nights stay. The staff was very accommodating, which I’m sure was hard given they are undergoing renovation. Our room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The breakfast, not so much, unless you want to tear open a cellophane bag and warm your….put in the term, sausage and egg, bagel, etc. We’d stay again and go out for breakfast. Easy access to Chareston and many other venues.

Clean Safe And Staff Was So Friendly
I was blown away when I got to the hotel. We have stayed in 4 star hotels before so I thought this hotel may not be as clean or in a safe area. I was wrong….clean, friendly and affordable. American Operated apparently. I will use this hotel again when we return to Mt. Pleasant. The hotel was so convenient to the Isle of Palms, Charleston and of course Patriots Point.
Below Expectations Room Great Staff
This hotel is in a good location. The staff there couldn’t have been nicer! They all went out of their way to assist in anyway. The room was below average. Floors were dirty and found dirty clothing behind the bathroom door. Lighting and shower not working properly.

Great staff, nice rooms ,poor breakfast. Much better value than over the bridge in Charleston. Pool was small but still nice. could have used a table in the room. Would stay there again. great business and restaurants close by.

Bw Stay In Mt Pleasant Sc
We were attending a 55th college reunion. Have stayed at BW in past years/reunions. Had a great time. The Staff was great the room was clean and comfortable, especially the additional pillows, which I like because of hip, leg and knee problems. Being handicaped, both me and my wife, I liked being able to park very near the entrance. The breakfast was OK, the general stuff, I do not expect a $$$$$ style affair. The price was great for being close to Charleston in addition BW sent me a $20 off coupon. Other classmates staying in Charleston were paying $100-$200 per night compared to $80+- at BW. Only 15 minutes from downtown Charleston and The Citadel. At least 3 other couples and 1 single were at the BW with us. When we go to Charleston we will always stay at the BW. On our way home we stayed at the BW in Wytheville VA, off I77 no comparison, it was dingy, noise next door and upstairs, bath was not really nice, security was ?? and price was almost the same. We will stay at BW Mt Pleasant every time but no more BW in Wytheville VA. You get what you pay for, but why the difference within the same organization? I guess we will have to bite the bullet and try to stay at various BW’s and see what happens, then check off the locations we will not revisit.
A Great Place To Go Anywhere
This was a perfect location and the service was well above and beyond the very reasonable price I enjoyed. The front desk staff and the breakfast lady were so sweet and welcoming. They did an exceptional job at making everyone feel at home and at rest.

Nice Charleston Visit In A Handy Quiet Location
Stayed here for 3 nights whilst holidaying from Australia. Our room was quite spacious, with a large window seat, handy for stowing our cases up at good height. We had a comfortable stay here, the hotel and its location was nice and quiet . The bed was comfortable and the shower nice and hot. The internet worked ok too. Power points were available on both sides of the bed- great as many motels only have limited charging points. We found the breakfast good and especially liked the lovely fish tank in the reception/breakfast area. The motel is in a convenient location-close to popular Patriots Point for viewing the USS Yorktown and taking the trip out to Fort Sumter, it’s also easy 15 min drive into the historic area of Charlestown, and over to Sullivan’s Island beaches. Close to many shops too -for a variety of food options – we found China East, just around the corner-great for some yummy no frills Chinese. Would happily stay here again and recommend to others.

Comfortable Place To Stay
I mostly I would like to say that the wonderful lady in the breakfast room was THE BEST we have ever encountered. She was totally involved with refilling food choices as necessary. She gave hello and goodbye hugs. A beautiful person!

Toilet Problems And Inconsiderate Staff
If it hadn’t been for a slow toilet that eventually stopped up and when reported we were asked to come down to get the plunger ourselves, instead of sending someone to take care of it or them bringing up to plunger for us, all would have been very acceptable and we would have been pleased.

Not A Comfortable Stay
Due to the uncaring staff, terrible internet service, dirty rooms and very noisy beds our much anticipated vacation made for an unpleasant stay in the Charleston area. The location was ok if you want a bit quieter area.

Easy Reach To Charleston Centre And Patriot’s Point Naval Museum
We chose this Best Western as the city centre hotels were very expensive and we were staying for five days.. In retrospect is was a good choice. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a large room with a sofa, microwave, fridge, and two flatscreen tvs. One at the foot of the bed the other in the sofa area. The breakfast had all the usual hot and cold servings. There were lots of pamphlets available for planning your sightseeing. There is a pool, and ample parking. The entrance to the bridge into Charleston is at the bottom of the road so it was an easy transfer into the city. Within walking distance there is a selection of restaurants and it seemed safe to walk. A short drive will take you to a larger selection. There is a Walgreens nearby and several other shopping areas around. The naval museum with the Yorktown is approx. 5 mins driving from the hotel. We would book this again if we went back to Charleston

Sight Seeing In Charleston
Under construction. Beds were uncomfortable. Shampoo and lotion provided were only half full. Room was musty smelling. Continental breakfast was in a 2nd floor room due to construction. It was very crowded. Staff for breakfast was very friendly. But there was not a good variety. Overall, not a restful experience. Will not be staying here again.

Great Stay For The Money
This hotel is a conveniently located to the main road so it is minutes to some great restaurants,the beach, shopping, the battleship, and the historic district. The room was comfortable and clean. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable . Miss Frannie, the breakfast lady, is friendly, helpful, and caring. Eating breakfast with her is like being a grandma’s house. She is a doll! We would definitely stay there again.

Sagging Mattress V Partiers In The Lobby
Cheapest hotel that wasn’t booked so I snagged it as have had good experiences in the past with Best Western. Appearance was nice and staff upon check in was friendly. But then sleeping was another story altogether. First night someone let their kids loose at midnight to run the hallways and holler in the lobby area. Second night some gaggle of party goers decided to continue the party in the lobby until 2AM. I don’t think staff did enough to quiet them down for the sake of other guests trying to sleep. You get what you pay for as the old adage goes.
