I Don’t Need to Depend on the Government
During Hurricane Harvey people were standing in line for hours for water. There was no fuel, there were no grocery stores open.
The power was out, but I just plugged everything into my Patriot Power Generator. Plugged the TV in, and we had our coffee. We were just living a normal life. Everything was normal.
Be prepared to be self-reliant. I could hunker down and live here for six months and not ever have to leave. I feel self-reliant. I dont have to rely on anybody.

I Feel Secure Having This
The Patriot Power Generator handles my lights, AC if I need it, a small heater, my microwave and my TV. I also have a small refrigerator I can plug in. I put my solar panels on the trailer hitch and recharge while I use my generator inside.
Ive used a gas generator before and spent $50 for gas for 3 days. But the Patriot Power Generator can go inside while I sleep, and I dont have to worry about anything. I feel a lot more comfortable.

The Added Battery Capacity Isnt That Much
Patriot claims that you get 28% more battery storage capacity with 1800 than with the 1500 but when you look at this more closely, youll find that 28% isnt too big of a deal.
To put it another way, the 1800s 690wh battery can power a full-sized refrigerator for six to nine hours. On the other hand, the 1500 battery can power that same refrigerator for four to seven hours, which isnt that much of a difference.
Once you consider how many things youll need to power when an emergency arises, youll realize the significance of this disadvantage.
During a power outage, particularly one that lasts a while, youll likely want to power a refrigerator and freezer at the very least, and maybe even an important medical device such as a CPAP machine.
If the 1800s battery was made just three times larger, it would be able to accommodate you much better. In other words, the battery included with the Patriot 1800 generator will be used up quickly, which means that you likely wont be able to plug in everything you wish to plug in.

“I purchased the Generator Package and was very pleased with the size, weight and simple operation of this new Patriot Power Generator 1800! It performed as specified by 4Patriots. To meet my needs I wanted to decrease the solar charging time of the generator using one solar panel so I daisy chained three of the Lion Energy Panels together which seemed to be about right for a full sun to partial sun day. The generator was able to keep up running my fridge/freezer all day while solar charging so I had enough power to run it at night without having to cycle the fridge/freezer on/off.

How Many Plugs Are On The Patriot Power Generator
The output availability on the patriot generator is surprisingly lacking, however. The outputs contain only two AC ports , which is quite low for the size of the inverter. You can really only 2 things plugged in at once on the patriot power generator which is not ideal in an emergency situation.
I think 4Patriots might have done this purposefully so as to prevent users from overloading the system, however Im a bit confused with this decision. Also included are two DC outlets , and four USB outlets for phone chargers, lights etc.
