MENARD’S IS TIED WITH LOWE’S IN MY MIND IN TERMS OF HAVING THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEIR PRICES ARE EXTRAORDINARY AND THEY HIRE 5 YEAR OLDS WHO DON’T KNOW ANYTHING- LET ALONE HOW TO ENSURE THEY KEEP SOMEONE’S BUSINESS. NO WONDER THEY’RE LOOSING MONEY. I CALLED UP AND ASKED IF A SIMPLE ACCOMODATION COULD BE MADE, AS A ONE TIME COURTESY, BY PLACING A COUPLE OF ITEMS I NEED AT CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR PICK UP. I CANNOT MAKE THE PURCHASE THROUGH THE WEBSITE AND CANNOT GET THROUGH THEIR UNUSUALLY LARGE PREMESIS RIGHT NOW. I MADE THE GENUINE, HEARTFELT REQUEST TO ASK THE “MANAGER” IF THEY COULD PLEASE HELP ME OUT THIS ONCE BY PUTTING WHAT I NEED UP FRONT FOR ME TO BUY AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE THE LEAST AMOUNT OF TIME AND HASSEL POSSIBLE. THEY SAID MY CUSTOMER SERVICE REQUEST IS “NOT POSSIBLE.” I HAVE DISLIKE MENARDS FOR A WHILE NOW BECAUSE OF THEIR POLICIES AND PRACTICES AND DO NOT ENJOY OR SEEK TO SHOP WITH THEM, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN THE EXCEPTION THAT CHANGED THAT PERCEPTION IN MY MIND, BUT THEY FAILED- AS USUAL. TOO BAD! I’M OFF TO THE HOME DEPOT WHERE, DESPITE A PRICE DIFFERENTIAL, THE STAFF ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO ASSIST ME WITH ANYTHING I REQUIRE. MENARD’S JUST LOST OUT ON A POTENTIALLY LUCRETIVE OPPORTUNITY AS THE RENOVATIONS I AM HAVING DONE WILL, IN TERMS OF MATERIALS ANS SUPPLIES, UNDOUTEDLY RUN INTO THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. Less than one star…In Michigan, they discriminate againt people over age 50. They DENY people on OXYGEN in the store unless they wear a mask. They DO NOT CARE if you have a medical condition like Asthma or COPD. They will physically rip products consumers want to buy out of their own hands. Denying them things as simple as furnace filters, enticing them to anger to remove them from the store. I believe this is called verbally bullying. What is with shaming PAYING customers. They call the police which show up at your door. People have been drug to court at their own expense over NOT wearing a mask or ADJUSTING a mask TO BREATHE while inside the store. They attack harder if your under the poverty line. State Attorney Generals are putting them on check for PRICE GOUGING. This business needs a reality check or lose business till they no longer exist. They believe they have a right NOT to follow the Federal or State Constitution. DO WE NOT HAVE A CONSTITUTION? Why are consumers treated as criminals?

Doing a complete kitchen remodel. 4 out of 16 cabinets were badly damaged. The wood grain of two pieces of countertop did not match and the fourth piece has yet to arrive. Customer service is a joke. They will not call or text when orders arrive and then get bitchy when we call or stop in to see if anything came in. They say they will check on it and call back but never do. Not once. Six weeks in on this project with no idea when the order will be completed and no one interested in answering questions. Still havent seen the 11% rebate they claimed was sent two weeks ago. Menards makes going to Walmart a pleasure.

Purchased a westinghouse boiler for my infloor heat in my garage. igniter went out. called menards they just told me “good luck” finding parts. Been getting the run around with westinghouse for several hours / days. no local service contractors can find parts. totally worth spending the little bit more to purchase a boiler from your local hvac company so it can be serviced. -14 in Minneapolis and no heat

Absolutely no one to call if you have a question regarding an on line order or a concern. I just started shopping at this store and I believe that will be the last dollar that receive from me. If I ever get my online order I will return it and go to home depot where some one actually answers the phone.

If you want to pay full price for used merchandise, shop here!I paid $129.00 for a 5×7 area rug. After taking it home and placing it in my living room, I started to itch, cough and have an asthma attack. Its the type of reaction I get around dogs and cats, but I stay away from them since my allergies are so badi put a few pieces of tape to the rug and realized it had dog/ cat hair on it!!! A lot of it, too. In the middle- all over actually- and I realized this had already been used in someones home! I took it back and the manager could not have cared less that I had an allergic reaction, that I had to go through the trouble of dragging the heavy thing back to the storedisgusting! Not to mention with COVID and all other germs going around now, I dont want someone elses rug in my home.I got my money back and wont go back there.
