Where Is The Trump Rally

Don't Miss

Biden Trump To Make Final Appeals Day Before Crucial Us Midterms

Trump Rallies In Ohio Despite Leaked McCarthy Audio Tapes

President Joe Biden will hold a rally in Maryland, while his predecessor Donald Trump will be in Ohio on the last day of campaigning.

An election year that has unfolded against the backdrop of economic turmoil, the elimination of federal abortion rights and broad concerns about the future of democracy is concluding with a final full day of campaigning in which leaders of both parties will issue urgent appeals to their supporters.

President Joe Biden is holding a Monday evening rally in Maryland, where Democrats have one of their best opportunities to reclaim a Republican-held governors seat. The appearance is in line with Bidens late-campaign strategy of sticking largely to Democratic strongholds rather than stumping in more competitive territory, where control of Congress may ultimately be decided.

Bidens predecessor Donald Trump will hold his final rally of the campaign in Ohio. As he readies another run for the White House, Ohio holds special meaning for the former president because it was one of the first places where he was able to prove his enduring power among Republican voters.

His backing of JD Vance was crucial in helping the author and venture capitalist and one-time Trump critic secure the GOPs nomination for a Senate seat.

In the first national election since the violent January 6 insurrection, the final days of the campaign focused on fundamental questions about the nations political values.

A ‘once In A Lifetime Opportunity’ To See Trump Up Close

There were plenty of Iowans eager to hear that message. By 2:30 p.m., lines of people had already formed.

Bob Witchey arrived at the Sioux Gateway Airport at 10 a.m. Thursday, nine hours before Trump was scheduled to take the stage.

Witchey, a 61-year-old cattle rancher from ONeill, Nebraska, stopped by a vendors tent, bought a camouflage Trump 2024 hat and got in line with his fellow conservative diehards. They talked about the need for Republicans to take control of the U.S. House and Senate during next weeks elections, decrease government spending and arrest more immigrants at the Mexican border.

Witchey said he drove two hours to Sioux City on Thursday morning because the event was a once in a lifetime opportunity to stand with like-minded thinkers and see Trump up close.

I didnt wait for eight hours just to stand here, he said, shaking the green paper bracelet on his wrist that put him in a gated-off section near the stage. I want to be up front. Its kind of a trophy to me.

In fact, at Trumps urging, security let others into the gated-off section up front about halfway through the speech. Trump told the crowd it was a shame that the fake news media had a better view of them than they did. The event was also less crowded than some of his others, including his appearance in Des Moines last year.

With The Primaries Over Both Parties Are Shifting Their Focus To The General Election On Nov 8

As president, Mr. Trump often had a winking relationship with QAnon, amplifying social media posts related to the conspiracy theory movement, which holds that when he was in the White House he was locked in a war against satanic, child-trafficking liberals and Democrats. A chief tenet of the movement, which has gradually spread from the fringes of the far right closer to the center of the Republican Party, is that Mr. Trump will ultimately be returned to power.

But what was once a flirtation with a movement that the F.B.I. has warned could increasingly turn violent now appears to be a full embrace.

Trump Kicks Off Final Campaign Blitz To Boost Republicans And Himself

To say that Donald Trump is returning to the campaign trail would suggest hes ever gone away.

But starting Thursday night, the former president returned in a new way four rallies in five days for his sprint to Election Day, putting himself at the forefront of the GOP fight for control of Congress.

The rallies in Iowa, Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio serve another purpose as well to buttress Trumps increasingly likely 2024 presidential campaign.

Get ready, thats all Im saying, Trump told the crowd in Sioux City, Iowa, on Thursday, adding that he will very, very probably do it again.

His final push to boost Republican candidates whose races could determine control of the US Senate began in the state he won comfortably in 2016 and 2020 but where Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley is looking for a last-minute boost from Trumps base after a Des Moines Register poll last month found the seven-term senator in a far closer contest than expected against Democrat Mike Franken. Two people familiar with the matter said the Iowa Republican asked Trump to make a stop in his state.

To make sure that this trip to Iowa by President Trump is worthwhile, every one of you needs to get your family and friends to vote, Grassley said when he briefly took the podium.

Trump touted the Iowa Republicans longevity and lengthy Senate career, describing Grassley as very special and a crucial reason he was able to confirm hundreds of federal judges as president.

Dr Oz Steelers Gaffe At Trump Rally Sparks Mockery Online

FULL TRUMP RALLY: Watch the full President Trump rally in Louisiana

Dr. Mehmet Oz’s gaffe about the Pittsburgh Steelers has sparked widespread mockery on social media.

During a rally appearance with Donald Trump in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, the Republican made a bid to further connect with voters ahead of the crucial Midterm elections on Tuesday by referencing the Steelers.

Oz said: “Tomorrow morning, when you awaken, I want you to contact 10 people – do it at church, do it before the Steelers game, just find the time. Here’s the question you’re going to ask them. ‘Are you happy with the way America’s going?'”

But as many noted online, the Steelers are not playing on Sunday and will next take to the field against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, November 13.

The gaffe added to criticism of Oz, a longtime New Jersey resident whom his Democrat rival John Fetterman has frequently accused of having no genuine connections to Pennsylvania

Oz was previously mocked online after he appeared to suggest the Keystone State borders the Atlantic coast.

Fetterman took the opportunity to land a jibe at his rival with a tweet. He said: “The Steelers have a bye this week.”

Political strategist Cheri Jacobus posted: “Oz: ‘And how about that popular sportsball team from this state of Pennsylvania where I totally reside?'”

Political commentator Keith Olbermann also joked about Oz’s connection to New Jersey.

Polls taken in late October gave Fetterman and Oz slight leads over one another.

Staying Out Of States Where His Presence Could Backfire

Trumps impending 2024 presidential campaign could be crippled before it even begins if he faces a string of losses in Senate and gubernatorial contests that threaten his credibility as a so-called kingmaker and raise questions about his popularity with GOP voters. Even in the weeks leading up to Election Day, aides to the former president have had to strategically craft his campaign schedule, keeping him from states where his presence could backfire against Republicans and where other GOP heavyweights like DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, or Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin are in greater demand.

Its really hard to tell him no, but there are places where you dont want to have the guy who lost to Biden campaigning for you when youre surging, said a Republican operative involved in several midterm races.

If Blake Masters loses by a point or two in Arizona, the only person to blame will be Mitch McConnell, said one of the Trump advisers, pointing to a September decision by the Senate Leadership Fund, a group aligned with McConnell, to yank $9.6 million in ad spending out of the Arizona Senate race between Masters, a Trump-endorsed Republican, and incumbent Democrat Mark Kelly.

In an interview this week, Trump struck a cautious tone when asked about the Senate map, eschewing the confidence he typically oozes at his freewheeling campaign rallies.

This story has been updated with additional developments Thursday.

Donald Trump Teases ‘big Announcement’ While Speaking At Jd Vance Rally

DAYTON, Ohio While at a rally in support of Senate candidate J.D. Vance, former President Donald Trump said he will be making a “very big announcement” Tuesday, Nov. 15.

The Hill previously reported citing unnamed sources Trump had discussed this with aides potentially making a presidential announcement at the Dayton rally Monday night. The report said the decision was not final, noting that Trump himself said at a Sunday rally in Florida that he will probably run again, adding: Stay tuned tomorrow night in the great state of Ohio. Stay tuned.

Trump teased his official campaign announcement multiple times at the rally, commenting on how Republicans can take back the White House during the next presidential election and speaking about other candidates. Toward the end of his speech, the former president said he would make an announcement later so as to not “detract from the importance of tomorrow.”

As he left the podium, “Hold On I’m Coming” played.

Some Trump allies urged him to announce his plans Monday, including U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Florida, who tweeted: To all the press texting & calling me: Trump should announce tonight His candidates won the primaries Bidens central message was the ULTRA MAGA scare And we are going to win BIGLY! Trump deserves all the credit for this wave election & announcing tonight he will seize it.

Trump Rallies Maga Faithful Across Country Ahead Of 2022 Elections

The former president has been on the road throughout October, holding rallies for Republicans across the country. But he remains a polarizing figure, and hes focused his attention on races where he can help drive his MAGA base without alienating potential swing voters.

Though he lost the 2020 election to Democrat Joe Biden, Trump carried Iowa in both 2016 and 2020.

When he led the ticket as a presidential candidate in 2020, Iowa Republicans credited him with helping to drive a surge of voters that lifted GOP candidates across the board.

There is no question, was a real force in the turnout of Republicans, Republican strategist David Kochel told the Des Moines Register at the time. Without the base being as galvanized as they were, none of our candidates would have been successful.

The Registers latest Iowa Poll shows that most Iowans hold unfavorable views of Trump, but most Republicans view him favorably.

The poll found 52% of Iowans say their feelings toward Trump are very or mostly unfavorable up from 45% who said so in September 2021. The number of Iowans who say their feelings toward Trump are very or mostly favorable has dropped to 46% from 53% in September 2021. Yet Trump earns favorable ratings from 83% of Republicans.

He attacked communist Democrats for expanding the times when people can vote. He said the liberal party should not allow transgender girls to compete in girls’ athletics, echoing a statement Reynolds made.
