In the past, major golf championships have often been played on Trumps courses, such as the PGA Championship and the U.S. Womens Open. Back in 2009, Town & Country Magazine says his daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner held their wedding there, with a guest list that included such big names as Rupert Murdoch, Rudy Giuliani, and Andrew Cuomo. Trumps adoration for the property went so far that in 2012 he even embarked on a mission to have a cemetery built on the club, according to NJ.com, with the idea being that he, his family, and his club members could one day use it as their final resting place.

More recently, it seems, Trump has backtracked from that notion. In 2015, NJ.com reported that despite putting in years of effort to get the New Jersey cemetery built, hed changed his mind and was now considering being buried at one of his Florida properties instead. Sorry, New Jersey!

Trump Begins Long Golf Weekend Bringing Taxpayers Tab To $108 Million

President Donald Trump began a three-day golf weekend Friday, making his 16th visit to his New Jersey golf club since entering office and pushing his total travel and security costs for his hobby to $108.1 million.

The presidents Marine One helicopter touched down at Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster around 12:45 p.m. Trump is not scheduled to return to the White House until Sunday, giving him three more golf days at his resort 45 miles west of New York City.

Heading into Friday, Trump had spent 60 days at his course in Northern Virginia, 59 days at Bedminster and 57 days at his resort in West Palm Beach. He has also visited his courses in Los Angeles Doral, Florida Jupiter, Florida Scotland and Ireland all on the taxpayer dime.

Trumps use of Air Force One, even the smaller version he used Friday, and Marine Corps helicopters both in Washington and New Jersey drive up costs to taxpayers, and the long weekend will add at least $1.1 million to his grand total, according to a HuffPost analysis.

While he was a reality TV host and then as a presidential candidate, Trump frequently pounded President Barack Obama for spending too much time on the golf course. Trump often told audiences he would be too busy to take any vacations, let alone play golf.

In contrast, the staffs of Obama and former President George W. Bush routinely disclosed the presidents golf partners.

MAGA followers think you are not a Democrat you are a member of a party now actively killing Republicans. You are not a mainstream conservative you are a person with a death wish.

Where Else Has Trump Campaigned

On June 18, 2022, Trump held his American Freedom Tour event in Memphis, Tennessee.

He was joined on stage by former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Dinesh DSouza, Mark Burns, Sheriff Mark Lamb, and a number of other conservative speakers at Landers Center.

On Saturday, May 28, he made his first-ever appearance at a rally in Casper, Wyoming, where he endorsed GOP congressional candidate Harriet Hageman, who will be challenging Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming.

Previously, former President Donald Trump headlined the National Rifle Associations annual meeting in Texas on Friday, May 27.

In a post via Truth Social, Trump said he would be keeping his longtime commitment to speak at the event in Houston because the country needs real solutions and real leadership at this moment.

The news comes after a mass shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas left at least 19 students and two teachers dead.

According to NPR, attendees were not able to carry guns during his address and were searched with magnetometers before entry by Secret Service.

He showed his support for Republican candidate Harriet Hageman, who is campaigning against Liz Cheney.

Over the years, Trump and Cheney have not seen eye-to-eye and have called each other out on several occasions.
