Blake Masters has scored a prime spot in the Republican fundraising world: A chance to reach Donald Trumps prized donor list directly.

It just comes with a catch: Masters will see very little money from the emailed appeals, though the data he collects in the moment could prove more valuable than the cash.

President Trump asked me to reach out to remind you just how important YOU are to our movement, read a Monday email signed by Masters and sent to Trumps donor list. We will not win and restore our Republican Majority in the Senate without the support of every single Patriot, and that includes YOU.

Those who click through a link in that email are sent to a donation page for the Official Trump Final Countdown Fund, with the page telling supporters that your contribution will benefit Save America Joint Fundraising Committee Trumps main fundraising operation and Blake Masters for Senate.

However, the default split for donations made there is 99 percent to Trumps political operation and just 1 percent to Masters Senate campaign in one of the closest battleground races in the country.

Masters is still getting something out of the deal, though.

In most cases, you will initially receive a canned response from the government. You may get a response from the government office that you emailed, but the response is usually written by staff members.

In rare cases, you may receive an email from the actual government official. Again, this is rare. Given the volume of emails they receive, it is usually not feasible for the official to personally respond to messages.

The following will help you get in touch with various members of the U.S. government via email:

Judge Orders More Eastman Emails Released Citing Fraud Pushed By Trump

A California-based federal judge ordered a legal adviser to President Trump to turn over records tied to Jan. 6 to the House committee investigating the attack, finding the communications were not protected since they likely were exchanged in furtherance of a crime.

Included in the emails is evidence that Trump pushed ahead in court with voter fraud claims he knew were inaccurate details certain to be of interest to the House select committee.

Judge David Carter ordered John Eastman, who crafted two memos for the Trump campaign detailing methods to resist certifying President Bidens victory, to turn over some 33 documents to the House panel.

That includes eight documents the judge said related to crimes of obstructing an official proceeding and conspiracy to defraud the United States.

Carter previously found in March that it was more likely than not that Trump committed crimes as part of his plot to stay in power.

Wednesdays ruling highlights an email among Trumps lawyers specifically related to conspiracy to defraud.

One email from Eastman notes Trump was told that a December suit filed in Georgia claiming that unregistered voters and dead people voted in the election there may not have accurate numbers relaying that concern before the campaign escalated the matter to a federal court.

One such email claimed that having litigation before the Supreme Court could aid the campaigns efforts in Georgia.

    Government Business On Personal Email

The Federal Records Act requires that all government-related documents and correspondence be preserved, and if an official uses a private account for communication they must forward the content to their government account. But that message did not seem to have reached multiple Trump administration officials, from cabinet members like Education Secretary Betsy DeVos to members of President Donald Trumps family like Ivanka Trump.

In November 2018, the Washington Post reported that the presidents oldest daughter had used a personal email account for official work on hundreds of occasions a fact White House officials discovered after American Oversight filed a lawsuit the year before that sought Ivanka Trumps emails with political appointees across the administration. In March 2019, her husband, Senior Adviser Jared Kushner, was found to have used a private WhatsApp messenger for work.

The 2016 campaigns focus on email practices doesnt seem to have left an impression on DeVos, either, who was found by the Education Departments inspector general to have used four different personal email accounts for work. Former Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin used personal email to communicate with three members of Trumps Mar-a-Lago club. So did his then chief of staff, Peter ORourke.

Obama’s handwritten letter to President Trump revealed

Twitter may be maintaining its ban on Donald Trump, but the former president is finding other ways to get his message out.

The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday published a lengthy letter to the editor from Trump charging, inaccurately, that the 2020 presidential election won by Joe Biden was rigged.

The nearly 600-word letter is replete with loosely sourced and largely debunked claims of fraud in Pennsylvania, a state that President Biden won by 81,660 votes, handing him 20 electoral college votes that helped secure his victory.

Trump took issue with an Oct. 24 piece from the Journals reliably conservative editorial board, which argued that the statewide margin between Trump and Biden was too vast for a debate over the status of approximately 10,000 mail-in ballots that arrived after the Election Day deadline to be germane to the outcome. The country is lucky the election wasnt closer, the board wrote. If the election had hung on a few thousand Pennsylvanians, the outcome might have been picked by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Well actually, the election was rigged, which you, unfortunately, still havent figured out, Trump retorted baselessly in his letter, before listing a few examples of how determinative the voter fraud in Pennsylvania was. Trump cited talking points from Audit the Vote PA, a little-known organization that has promoted unsubstantiated claims of election fraud, which he described as highly respected.

Judge Says Trump Knew His Voter Fraud Numbers Were False Orders Ex

A federal judge on Wednesday ordered lawyer John Eastman, a key figure in former President Donald Trump’s challenges to the 2020 election results, to turn over 33 new documents to the House Jan. 6 committee, including a number that the judge found are exempt from attorney-client privilege because they relate to a crime or an attempted crime.

In his order, U.S. District Judge David Carter of Central California found Eastman should hand over eight documents under the “crime-fraud exception” to attorney-client and attorney work privileges.

According to the judge, Eastman said in one of the email exchanges that Trump was aware that the number of voter fraud cases his team was alleging in a federal lawsuit challenging the election results in Georgia was “inaccurate.” But, the judge said, Trump signed off on the suit, “swearing under oath” that the numbers were correct, anyway.

It doesnt appear like the fundraising push is slowing down any time soon, either. Since Jan. 1 of this year, the Trump groups have sent 14 emails per day, according to the Defending Democracy Together Institute. The frequency has risen steadily since last July, when Trumps PACs were only sending around three emails per day.

Trumps allies have defended the former presidents fundraising practices. No one in the history of the Republican Party has done more to grow the donor pool at every level than President Donald J. Trump, something that pays untold dividends to Republican candidates and causes across the nation, Taylor Budowich, a spokesperson for Trump, told Axios.

Brad Parscale, who ran Trumps digital operation in 2016 before serving as one of his 2020 campaign managers, weighed in on Thursday. So youre saying: Why dont you cut back your fundraising and let us act like we are Trump so we can have some of his donations. We cant figure out how to do it with our boring candidates, so let us fake being your popular candidate. Yeah, sure, he tweeted.

Regardless of the GOPs unease with Trumps fundraising apparatus, the Republican National Committee was still able to out-raise its Democratic counterpart in 2021, $159 million to $151 million. House Republicans recently overtook Democrats, too.

The House select committee investigating the 2021 US Capitol insurrection has obtained a December 2020 proposal from a lawyer to Rudy Giuliani and others that sketched out an early, rough plan to halt Joe Biden becoming president by throwing the certification of the election into the hands of the Senate pro tempore at the time, Republican Chuck Grassley of Iowa.

The December 13 email, written by a New York lawyer named Kenneth Chesebro, is significant because its the only document so far that the House has obtained solely because of a judges finding that it could become evidence of a crime. The email came to light as part of a court fight over right-wing attorney John Eastmans email account.

The House has obtained, through other arguments, hundreds of additional Eastman emails relevant to his work for then-President Donald Trump before January 6, 2021, and is still arguing for access to more. Eastman advised Trump on ways to try to block his electoral loss.

The email from Chesebro, in its subject line, called the proposal the President of the Senate strategy. The committee obtained the email several weeks ago, and it became public in the court filing recently.

Fridays positive jobs report might have been a day of exclamation points and all-caps self-congratulation for Donald J. Trump if he were A) still president, and B) still allowed to post on Twitter.

Instead, there was a somber tweet from the White House chief of staff, Ron Klain, who downplayed the 379,000 newly created jobs as not good enough, and Mr. Trump himself used a muted megaphone he once eschewed email to address an array of topics tailor-fit for social media.

Despite being delayed by years of litigation and politics by the Democrats, the wall is almost finished and can be quickly completed. Doing so will save thousands of lives, Mr. Trump wrote in an email on Friday, responding to recent White House moves to reverse his immigration and border wall policies.

Keep illegal immigration, crime, and the China Virus out of our country! he added in the email, sent by his post-presidential office.

It is Trumps Twitter feed, only now its my inbox, Rob Tornoe, a reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer, posted on Twitter after the email went out.

The old-is-new email format, which has no character count or content warnings, allows the former president to ramble and speak out as before, with all the same unedited idiosyncrasies of grammar and punctuation intact.

A few hours later, he targeted Karl Rove, a former adviser of President George W. Bush, for writing an op-ed piece calling Mr. Trumps speech at CPAC hollow.

Trump Knew Voter Fraud Claims Were Wrong Federal Judge Says As He Orders John Eastman Emails Turned Over

A federal judge on Wednesday ordered the release of emails from John Eastman, a former Donald Trump attorney, to House investigators, saying the communications were made in furtherance of a crime related to Trumps efforts to subvert the 2020 election.

The emails show that President Trump knew that the specific numbers of voter fraud were wrong but continued to tout those numbers, both in court and to the public, Judge David O. Carter wrote.

The Court finds that these emails are sufficiently related to and in furtherance of a conspiracy to defraud the United States, he added.

Carter, who sits on the federal district court in central California, already released many of Eastmans emails from around January 2021 to the House select committee investigating the US Capitol attack, but the two sides were still arguing over 562 additional documents from Eastmans Chapman University email account.

For eight of the 500-plus Eastman documents the judge was examining, the judge said that the materials could be released because they fit in the so-called crime-fraud exception, which allows disclosure of otherwise privileged materials if the communications were related to or in furtherance of illegal or fraudulent conduct.

Carters new order cited one email where Trumps attorneys state that merely having this case pending in the Supreme Court, and not ruled on, may be enough to delay consideration of Georgia.
