On the heels of a two-game losing streak, the Cleveland Browns are set to host the New England Patriots in Week 6. This will be another rematch from 2021 as these two teams played one another last season as well.
That was a game to forget for the Browns, who lost in an embarrassing fashion, 45-7. After the game, Myles Garrett also made waves when he.
So far in 2022, defensive issues have remained a major point of contention. The Browns have had a realistic shot of winning all five games this season but defensive miscues have largely cost them in the final 15 minutes of each contest.
While many of the gaffes have been in the passing game, they were unable to stop the run in Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers, who arent a good running team. Now they welcome New England, who is fresh off a huge day on the ground of their own.
Rhamondre Stevenson went for 161 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-0 win against Detroit. He will look to do the same again when they face Cleveland as each team looks to improve to 3-3.

Stevenson Goes 31 Yards For Touchdown
Rhamondre Stevenson took a massive running lane 31 yards to the house and its now 10-3 Patriots.
This started with a great play-call by the Patriots to hand it off to Stevenson for a draw on third-and-10. The Browns were looking to get pressure on Bailey Zappe and left a big opening in the second level, then a nice pull-block by Hunter Henry helped right guard Mike Onwenu and right tackle Marcus Cannon clear the way for Stevenson. Jakobi Meyers also got to the second level to seal off the back side for Stevenson, who does the rest. A huge play in the game, and great overall team execution by both the players and coaches.

After a dynamic 29-yard catch by DeVante Parker set up first-and-10, then a pass interference flag on the Browns set up first-and-goal from the 1, the Patriots somehow still couldnt score a touchdown. Two straight run stuffs against Rhamondre Stevenson set up third-and-goal, then Hunter Henry committed a penalty by illegally coming back into the field of play and catching a pass after going out of bounds. So they have to settle for a 19-yard field goal by Nick Folk.
Overall, a good start for the Patriots, but an ugly sequence at the end there that took four points off the board. 3-0 Patriots.

The Patriots offense has been ice-cold in the first half since the bye week, and it can’t seem to get out of the funk.
The Patriots have relied on furious comebacks in the second half and almost always seem to pull them out.
Against a team like the Browns, the hole was only 6-0 at the half. Against playoff teams, that hole will be double digits.
The Patriots have to figure out a way to start fast and finish strong, and they have two tough tests coming back-to-back on the road. The Patriots are still very much in the driver’s seat for a division title and a bye, but they’ll need to put together a full game at some point.

CLEVELAND, Ohio The Browns are now on a three-game losing streak as they were blown out at home by rookie quarterback Bailey Zappe and the Patriots, 38-15, on Sunday.
Zappe threw for 309 yards and two touchdowns in just his second start. The Patriots defense sacked Browns quarterback Jacoby Brissett four times and forced four turnovers.
The Browns run game was shut down for the first time all season as they gained just 70 yards on 18 carries.

The Cleveland Browns were the latest team to get Zapped by the New England Patriots and rookie quarterback Bailey Zappe, who now owns a 2-0 record as a starter to begin his NFL career.
The Patriots beat the Browns 38-15 in Cleveland due to a highly efficient performance from Zappe and a dominant effort from New Englands defense.
Offensive spotlight: Zappe went 24-of-34 for 309 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Based on PFF’s first review, he got rid of the ball at an average 2.61-second clip. He didnt make any big-time throws but also wasnt marked with any turnover-worthy plays. The Patriots made effective use of play action, as Zappe went 6-of-7 for 144 yards and a touchdown with a play fake. Zappe was also penalized for delay of game and intentional grounding, so it wasnt all positives from the rookie, but it was still an impressive display in just his second career start.
Defensive spotlight: Browns edge defender Myles Garrett was battling through injuries during the game but finished with two sacks, including a strip sack, and three hurries. He finished the game with a game-high 24-percent pass-rush win rate.
